In regards to the car For insurance i went with Just car insurance cause they gave me a good deal for my age. i am 23 with rating 1 so i got my r34 gtt for just over a grand full comp. Having said that my mate used to pay 3000+ for a 200sx. Just get an online quote on Just car insurance then shop around to beat it. When it gets to Australia it will need to be complianced then put over the pits here in tassie so you can get it regoed. of course you can select a more leanient person to look at it . gotta pay extra fees cause its the first time registered in australia and rego thats about it. ed

Ok here is what i know, Premiumax is what it is called, the guy behind the counter said that it has more ron than premium unleaded but they could not guarantee it was 98 what ever the fook that means. i have the little brochure somewhere i will find it, i am trying it in my car, Liberty Mowbray also have it. price is $1.27-29, of course i have not been for a tune yet but will soon then we will see how it goes. Have to run another tank through it anway. Just ring up Legana for questions. I will report back with a scanned copy of the brochure when i can. I think premiumax needs testing for an accurate figure, cheers ed

yeah i thought that might be the case, thought it would be ok though as my mate had one without issue, know of any changes i can make with the AFM? i am about to put a apexi power intake on so i have to dabble in that area anyway. ed -
Hey All I installed a Blitz DD Blow off valve on my R34 yesterday, and now the exhaust periodically back fires usually only when changing from 1st to second, but also can happen when just reving the car in neutral when it returns to idle. I have a feeling it is because the stock BOV is a recirc where as this one is not and therefore the amount of boost pressure. Anyone had this before? and Any ideas on how to fix the back fire issue? hey man thanks, but i already tried nissan they can't get this colour in the only one that is on there systems is the silver colour as they ordered the same part number as mine and it was silver, as it has been superceded and they said they couldn't get it. Having said that i then rang nissan in another state cause i thought this was a crock and i they said basically the same except they said something about paying $260 for 2 from Japan. So i am trying to find "other sources" cheers ed -

Cheers mate, make sure you open it if possible with the face down as the 4 buttons are only sitting in there. I will triple check the ignition wires hopefully this w/e aswell, i am thinking of trying to ditch the current harness temporarily and wire it up as the HKS wiring guide suggests if you don't have a harness available. I personally think it has been tampered with as you see above the TT has dodgy human solders but hey want to check it all out before spending $200 on another one. -

Hey not sure what type of TT you have but the four main ones are constant power, ignition, ground and accessories, these should connect to the key switch connector into the coressponding areas, you will need a test light or multimeter etc. Having said that, your cd player will have a constant power and accessories wires connected which you should be able to use i am not 100% sure, CD players usually don't have the ignition so that would still have to go to the key switch connector. ground you can obviously connect to the chassis somewhere. Not sure on the colours you have on your TT got the manual? still best to go to the key switch connector though. Others please correct me if i am wrong ps there should be a safety wire in there somewhere to go to the handbrake! -

Hi Michael, the Timer was on when i got it, but i am assuming it has the harness you are talking about as there is a 3 plug harness invloved pictured above where the middle one goes to the ignition switch, one goes to the plug which used to go into the ignition switch, and the 3rd goes to a smaller plug that connects to the TT, there is a white wire which you can see in the image which doesn't seem to go anywhere though or have anywhere to hook onto, which is located between the middle plug and the TT -
