I got confused with the R33 with a magna when i first got into skylines, and yes the R33 looks very boring, but damn, i would rather have a boring looking car than a fulgy looking car. however the angry eyes is the only thing the 200's got going looks wise. R33 rear + S14 front =

It'll be a rip off it you have to pour money into it to fix up problems. So follow Miller's advice, get it checked out by someone who knows about turbo cars etc.

My one of my mates just got one this week, I'm absolutely devestated! jks I personally would never buy one, but i guess they're a sensible option as a first car, cheap in all aspects.

A mate's got a Z32 tt, goes like a bullet when you mash the go pedal, but when it came to corners, compared to a R33 Gtst and a WRX that were with us, he had to brake much eariier and take the corner much slower. That said, I love the cockpit, very spaceship like, and was a much better looking car than the R33 and the rex.

Oh man! I've been "pulled over" 7 times now, never got a fine, defect or anything. 3 times was a RBT station. Three times they turned on the disco lights and rbt'd me, asked me where I was going, checked my licence. And once they pulled me for speeding, but i got away with it (sighs) Yes, i do wear a baseball cap sometimes, but always take it off when i get pulled over so i don't look as suss.. BTW: I don't own a skyline.

My mate broke his wrist, and he asked a cop about it, and the cop stated that as long as its in a cast then its illegal.

Restating what everyone has said, but at the very least, make sure your floor is painted a lightish colour with some kind of protectant so its easy to clean up spills, and generally easy to keep clean/sweep plus if you drop some small part its easy to find on a clean floor. Also at the very least ensure you have enough space to pop the bonnet. In mine, the roller door machine gets in the way, so make sure you have that covered. Good ventilation is a good idea. Don't want to loose a brother cos he couldnt breathe!

GTT is a turbo. there are a few manual 4 doors around but auto/tiptronic is definatly more dominate

You will get really crappy pay in when you're an apprentice, and when you're a fully qualified mechanic the pay isnt that much good either. Being a grease monkey is fun at first, but the novelty rubs off and you will find it repetitive and very dirty. I did work experience at peugot/saab. try going out with dirt under your nails and torn skin. for some reason girls dont like those kinds of hands touching them.
