D2 street coilovers allround eboost street boost controller running 9 and 12 psi Work VS-KF rims front 9.5 rears 10.5 wide 17 inch federal 595s on front cheapies on rear shimmed diff cold air induction to pod from front bar. apexi pod filter with plastic box sarround. turbosmart bov plumbback 2 motor got put in at 133000 kms upto 15400 running great. got put on dyno by jdm garage at capalaba motor repairs. made 264 hp at wheels. kenwood stereo . aftermarket speakers in doors and parcel shelf kenwood. kicker amp 5 way and sub. momo steering wheel and gear knob.

The mechanic has pulled the plug out and gap has closed . Thats what he told me .

Yeah i tried that too but the engine noise changed so that was fine . Yeah i dont really understand either.

Hello about a year ago i had one of my big bearings go . I had them all replaced and a good condition second hand crank shaft installed . All was fine until a couple of weeks ago when my car started to have a miss when i really put my foot down but it would go back to normal about ten seconds after. But then i was just driving normally oneday and it suddenly started to miss permanantely . i changed spark plugs and it was still there i played with coil packs found out the noise of the engine would stay the same with number 6 plug . so changed front coil with back and it still stayed the same so it wasnt coilpack. At this stage i couldnt figure it out so i took it to a mechanic. He beleives that the piston has hit the spark plug and thinks its a big end bearing gone again. The cars oil pressure was fine and had no knock from the motor or flashing dash lights like last time . So im just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem. or has a better idea of what could be going on? If it is another bearing there must be something wrong with my motor . im only running stock boost . Mechanicsaid i either get a second hand bottom end or just get new bearings. rb30 bottom end could be an idea too?

Hey mate im located noosa area on the sunshine coast. ive got a series 2 motor. What was wrong with the motors there off. I ve just had a big bearing go and its chewed at the crankshaft.

Hi ive just bought some yellow jacket coilpacks im just wondering if theres any special order they go in. Im assuming not and it doesnt matter which one goes where. Just have them facing right way for the plugs.

So ive only just realied yesterday that i have a r33 series 1.5 thought i just had a series 1. I found out by checking if i had a seperate ignitor for coil packs and i dont so i have a series 2 engine. Which is pretty cool ive ordered some yellow jackets and am hoping for the best.

Hi ive recently bought a high flow exhaust system turbo back for my r33 series 1. since its been on the car seems to miss when i put my foot down hard in first and second. Ive changed spark plugs already and that hasnt changed a thing. Has anyone had this problem or has any idea. Thanks Mick
