Intercooler water spray - Is too much water bad?

I think you may be confusing the water spray with water injection as Water injection can have that effect especially with methonal. Can even add abit of power if you want to advance the timing. -

Has anyone fitted a water to air intercooler to a Skyline? I am coming from a WRX wherre the benefits of the WAIC is noticeable due to the throttle body being behind the engine. Now with the skyline I am wondering if it is worth bothering fitting one at all and just sticking to a FMIC. Any comments will be appreicated, Thanks 1nfinite PS Did a search and could find nothing on the subject!
