  1. I spotted an R34 (couldn't tell the colour it was dark) number plate was just RB25. It was on alfords point road
  2. I would have thought it would be easier to just go m4 to silverwater like raj said certainly saves paying unnecessary tolls and really would only be 5-10 minutes slower at that time in the morning
  3. Also I'll be down at the meet point before 6am so I'll keep an eye on the weir. If we get enough heavy rain today, and I doubt we will, and the weir closes we'll just have to drive to waterfall and start the nasho run from there. The meet point and departure will stay the same for anyone concerned
  4. Congrats mate. What's the target for the motor once the cam timing is dialled in properly and you add the rest of the boost? Enjoy the torque
  5. Hope it's a simple fix mate. I know Stao did a but of comparative testing for intercoolers and found the blitz and similar turn flows had a much higher pressure drop compared to the other style. Definitely wouldn't account for that much of a loss though, mines certainly fine. I hope it's not a compression issue. Fingers crossed for you
  6. Ah yes fair enough. Definitely go the 740's then keep it safe
  7. Why not just grab a set of ID's/xspurts? They're pretty cheap and have a 725cc injector and have E85 capability should it become available near you. Not sure what a used set of 740's goes for but I'm sure the xspurts would only be maybe 100 or so more
  8. Will anyone be videoing or taking notes or anything? Very interested to hear about the E85 aspect but can't make it because of work
  9. Gunna guess around 290 seeing as there's plenty more boost to go in by the looks of it. Looks great mate and lots of power down low, should keep you on your toes
  10. Haha yeah pretty keen for results and the first drive
  11. From everything I've seen, they seem to drop more pressure across the core than normal intercoolers but they aren't too bad. Mine is just some cheap just jap item and is handling 320rwkw
  12. You'll probably find it is a restriction past like 260rwkw but it depends how high your goal is really. People have claimed to have reached 400rwkw with the air box so it's just one of many points that can be a restriction really
  13. Fifth time lucky for clearing defect? Hehe
  14. So keen to see your opinion of your first drive when you get it back. I would love to do this one day and just have a ridiculously quick street car that's basically always on boost. Been following this for a while, I hope all your hard work pays off for you mate. Cheers Brennan
  15. Thanks mate, you need to come see them on the 22nd as well. I have a spare seat going if no FWD Frenchie or GTR
  16. Haha thanks mate, they do look better in person as well. You'll see them on the 22nd
  17. Yeah I know. Really pissed off but at least it's worked itself out now. Would love to drop it about 20-30mm but that's a fair way off yet
  18. Ok so here's the update I've been waiting for. After having my tyres slashed and subsequently rims ruined (they weren't even CLOSE to being round anymore :S) I've got new ones. Seeing as it happened at work they are covered by my works insurance but they didn't wanna pay the excess and higher premiums so they're gunna just pay me back. So I've been looking for R34 rims but there weren't any in Sydney and I didn't wanna ship interstate and have my work think I was doing something dodgy, so I looked for other genuine nissan rims in the price bracket and found a sweet set of 350z version 2 rims. These are genuine forged Rays rims which were a factory option from the MY06 and onwards 350z. From factory they actually cost around 5500!! And I picked them up for the low low price of $600 haha. Chucked some new Michelin Pilot Sport 3's on as that's what I had on my old rims (and they are incredible for grip, if you need axing grippy tyres get PS3's) and here we are. Now some before and afters, cos everyone likes pics Before After
  19. Also interested in this question. Because as you say, if ethanol is killing O2 sensors, then flex fuel cars will obviously struggle big time seeing the much higher ethanol content. Is the fault in question to do with the O2 sensor failing because ethanol kills it, or because constantly running lean throws a code? Because in the second instance, surely running a flex fuel car, which is programmed to adjust how much fuel is injected according to ethanol content (with a flex fuel sensor) shouldn't have a problem. Also definitely no mechanic but would love to find out more. And I never use e10 in my daily (Camry)
  20. Better take me off the list
  21. Will keep an eye out mate, I work in the area
  22. Yeah I'd be happy with either an annual fee or just donations
  23. It absolutely does haha
