  1. In a lot of cars the bottom of that trim kind of tucks in just under/behind the back seat. Fold the seat forward and that will expose the bottom of the trim and slowly unclip with hands and long flat head. As long as you take it easy, you won't snap anything. A trim puller is unnecessary, I've pulled similar trim before with no damage. Just take your time
  2. Reverse lights gone. Plenty of. Spares left
  3. Makes sense. Cheers for the info
  4. Tail lights sold. Heaps of other spares available
  5. So at what stage would one start looking at getting aftermarket cams? Cheers
  6. Yep still got heaps of parts availavle folks. Dash, rear seat, tail lights, rear breakes, interior bits, rocker covers and heaps of other bits and pieces. Let me know what you are after and Im too easy on price....I simply want them gone
  7. Nice video, quite professional. How is it that you were allowed to do skids at airport?
  8. Hey mate dont have either. I do have the power steering fluid reservoi if you are after that at all cheers
  9. Agree with GTSBoy - unlikley that you will find the correct diagnosis on here. But anyway, this may give you an idea http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/engine/plugs.html
  10. I think just to be sure, get a cluster of a same vehicle but I do think the cluster of an Auto GTS-T will work.
  11. Mate honestly it depends on your luck. Cops do tend to dislike skylines and their drivers but it really depends on the cop who spots you. If you dont give them a reason to pull you over they usually dont (but sometimes do). They cruise around in rubish holdens all day, maybe thats why they dislike the skyline, who knows. But yes, overall you are more likely to get pulled over in a skyline; an import in general
  12. Shut Holden and use the money for one out of a million and one better things than bailing it out. What is to say that giving them the cash is going to sustain the company on the long run (10-15yrs)? Nothing. And what happens when they go broke again? Aussie cars are simly not as popular and as sought after as before. Jap and german are dominating and its not hard to see why. You get a lot of car for less money. Holden keep making rubbish everyday cars and their "performace" range is full of single cam terrible motors and vehicles. If they want to stay in business they should raise the cash, not tax payers, most of whom dont drive holdens and never will. Use the money for something else.
  13. meant to say "youve DONE a sensational job...."
  14. out of curiosity mate, when its all done and ready to drive, will you be getting someone to check it out and make sure everything is fitted nicely etc? or are you 100% confident in your work? Would hate to take it for a drive and something go wrong. Just want to know what people do in that regard after such a big build. Either way, youve dont a sensational job mate, should think of doing this for $$$ for other people.
  15. they both look aftermarket to me. You mea the first photo and your concern is that it narrows down too much towards the end?
  16. Better to read the thread but as to your 3 questions: To reduce length of intercooler piping (supposedly more response) Perhaps an aftermarket forward facing plenum No significant benefit
  17. Can't help but think that had this been posted earlier; it would have been a real time saver. Well if this is true, then the resuts speak for themselves
  18. What GTSTboy, Kinks and others who agreed with them said is all plausible, but again so are the arguments which disagree. To say that Nissan designed something for a reason and thats that is nonesene as far as I am concerned. The last RB25 was built what, almost 2 decades ago now and the requirements and market undoubtedly changed by now. Almost every part on a nissan is replacable with aftermarket parts these days and some can simply be modified as is the case here. The bottom line is this, unless someone has proven results on a dyno accross the rev range, no argument on here is substantiated. This is a really good discussion and if anyone has something else to add.........C'MON DOWN!!!!
  19. I think thats the most plausible response on the topic thus far
  20. I guess the best way is if someone goes on dyno with normal plenum and then does the C&S job and see difference. Highly doubt there would be any volunteers. I also add to SUPERBEN's con list that it could lean cylinders out although we have no proof of this thus far
  21. Did he notice significant or any improvement at all?
  22. Is that yours mate? Any problem with it, leaning out etc?
