So calipers need to be changed as well. What about brake lines, can they remain stock?

Hey guys, A bit of a query. If I was to replace stock skyline discs with after market items (cross drilled, slotted etc) but without upgrading anything else in the braking system (so calipers and lines remain stock but maybe get some better pads), would this actually prove to be beneficial or must the whole system be upgraded. I know that changing calipers etc is better but I just wanted to know whether changing discs on their own is worth while and will provide better braking. cheers

Did a quick search on the forums but didnt find an answer. I know that if you import a car and you wish to drive it on the road it must be complied and registered etc What if you import a car purely for track or parts and you do not wish to drive it on the road, does it need to be complied? Specifically in Perth (if that makes a different) Thanks Guys

Is that right? I didnt know that. Good news as I may be wrecking a ceffy soon (if it doesnt sell) and if parts fit on Laurel, well that means bigger potential market for me.
