Yeah if you go to the main VIN table for R33 GTR then change Filter Type to S2 V-Spec LM you will get a list of all of the V-Spec LMs, and I've added the build number for the notes alternatively if you type LM in to the search near the top right it will select all of the LMs.

I've spent some time looking over what's there and you're right - it's not correct. It's a bit confusing so if anyone can help that would be great - I'd love to get it correct. So the information is in the 2 following images: First is a general explanation: Second is the info Now the 2 parts of model codes we are interested in are: LM AA LM ZG L= projector headlamp M = P = Climate control air con = Q = Optional sound system From the left table Then there's AA which is both cold weather package (not listed above but should be) ZG Well Z doesn't even exist on the middle table. G = B + D Do we then take both left and right column of B and D, or only the right (or left?) B(left) = ABS B(right) = GT-R steering wheel D(left) = GT auto spoiler (front lip) D(right) = viscous LSD Then if GTR steering wheel is listed here, why is it not listed in AA? Surely they have all the same steering wheel Thoughts? Edit: It's been pointed out to me the preceding LM and LT are more R32-specific, the AA/ZG/ZH are BNR32-specific. Hence the various Auto Spoiler, Steering Wheel etc. translations don't apply here, they're for GTS (and GTS-t) models. Not sure how best to leave the translations.

Hi Bob, This is the sort of thing I would like to work on one day, as I'm not sure, and since I don't read Japanese it's not the easiest thing for me to research. Actually the idea would be to list all of the differences between each type (v-spec, m-spec etc, all of the different options, all with photos and part numbers. But that's quite an undertaking, and I don't have a good grasp on searching part numbers in FAST just yet. Plus I'd need a lot of help from the community for the photos. At least it was easy to compare some things when I had 2 R34 GTRs... I can tell you in the R34 GTR range, cold weather package does include larger battery cables and terminals. If you take a look through the old GTR-Registry.com intro thread on gtr.co.uk, there is some discussion there as well as some photos I took. Even found a big part in the boot related to the SatNav option that I never knew about lol Cheers.

Hi, I have now released the full details of R32, R33 and R34 Nissan Skyline GTRs. Just like with the R34 GTR release of data in January, I've managed to find quite a few interesting things which either weren't known, or not publicly known. All of this information is now public on an easily searchable website: GTR-Registry.com The first thing you will notice if you have been to the site before, is that the data now loads much much faster. The next biggest change is the introduction of the Registry aspect where owners will be able to submit photos and information about their cars if they wish. There are 2 ways to do this; a) Include your VIN in the subject and then this will get linked back to the main VIN table, with a camera icon and link on the VIN; or b) Post in the All Other GTRs section with no VIN information and it won't be linked back. On the main VIN tables, you will now see a new dropdown selection of Pic. Change this to Yes and you will immediately get a list of cars with more photos and information. So please feel free to add photos and details about your car! Had a chuckle at this comment from a while ago.

I may have solved the "Incumbent" error message that comes up for 33 cars. First we'll exclude the 6 LX0 cars as these have A001Y model codes which I believe is for internal cars. That leaves 27. This all started from Cam who gave me information about a well known car in Australia with a very special VIN. I then talked to the owner Tessa (gotta love FaceBook sometimes) and found out some very important information. This car has a 17 digit VIN like the UK GTRs. I then looked at the magazine article I had at home of this car and discovered what I consider 2 more very important pieces of info: a) The fuse box cover is in English not in Japanese like the rest (inc UK cars). b) There is an additional Nissan plate on the firewall that the Japanese ones don't have Which immediately struck me that these were exported as vehicles to be locally delivered. The other give away was the Y as 14th digit code. Now looking at the UK GTR cars, the model code is YGB1Z. Looking at the model codes of the other 27, we have: YHN6Z x10 (series 1 vehicles) YSN2Y x10 (series 1 vehicles) YNZ2Z x5 (series 1 vehicles) YNZ5Z x2 (series 2 vehicles) Back to the UK cars. Digit 15 and 16 is GB. GB = Great Britain? For the other 3, HN = Hong Kong, SN = Singapore, NZ = New Zealand? In my opinion, 10 were exported to Hong Kong, 10 to Singapore and 7 to New Zealand and should be taken out of the regular numbers and added to their own columns such as the UK GTRs in the colours section. I'm also debating whether I should change the VIN in the main VIN listing page (I won't at the moment but I may change them later). Thoughts? Also added a new section VINs of Interest at the bottom of the main VIN page.
