What a great run back! I so expected those blue and red lights to pop up behind me. Kids are in bed now. Had a great night even with the few stuff-ups.

Thanks for that. I am glad I can get an exhaust straight away, kind of aching to put one in. The other stuff will have to wait a bit.

I am a veterinary student, finish end of next year. I love it, five years of study had been hard though.

I have a 32 and I find if you have some kids toys and things lying around if you get pulled over and they see these things they tend to treat you as normal. Especially if you are worried about being searched. Worked for me in the city one night. My boyfriend has a 33 with neon lights under it. I got them installed for him and rang transport dept and found out that green is legal. Police dont like it but cant do anything about it. Anyone reading this who wants neons ring transport they will fax or post you the guidelines. (Know they can't be red,blue,yellow or white.) Also one point (if you like to go a bit over the limit-km I mean,) other people flash their lights at you. 9/10 radrs I am warned about compared to 1/20 before skyline days, this is a huge benefit. The other day I think someone actually pulled in front of me and made me slow down before I passed a radar. I think they just assume you are speeding. I got my open and lost 6 points in first week, bought my line, no fines for 6 months. So far this is a record for me. And I go faster in this car than have ever been before. Also 4 doors without big front spoiler have the power but look like all other cars (but really what would be the point of that.)

I need some advice . I have a 32 that I love almost like a pet. I've heard that 32's go the fastest. But my car is very slow off the mark. There is a big gain in power as boost kicks in. So what do I need to do to have similar initial power to an R33. And where do you start. I thought of getting a big 31/2 inch exhaust the other day (for stuff to do) but then wasn't sure wether that is now or later. At the moment the car is stock. I know a electronic boost control (and intercooler ) gives better boost, but what about before boost kicks in? With the exhaust, will I find that too drony? I want to be able to hear my exhaust when I drive. Don't want to get a three inch to be safe then be unhappy with it.

Had a great time. Thought it got a bit hairy a few times (and I was in the slow group) - but I love hairy. Getting springs and suspension done this week. Anthony has gone to Townsville for a holiday (leaving me with exams) Will you all be meeting at 7.30 at Milton macca's next Thursday. Gonna try and leave the kids at home, but they have become little skyline fanatics so may be hard.

Hey I have an 32. I have driven between oxley and St Lucia 5 times after fuel light. (maybe 50 kms-also traffic) Also from Redbank to Gatton on fuel light and then around gatton campus for 1/2 hour (hairy-looking for my prac group) That would be a 100 kms, and that is at 140 most of way. Ran out for first time in my car few days ago, But my last car was a newie too and I ran out nearly every week without fail. Never had a problem with fuel pump. Source of problem: first car on gas, so can just switch tanks. Get gas then you can get km travelled after fuel light for every driving situation!!!

sorry about that. Mustn't have seen you. Would definately have waved back if I had of. Have not had many waves, but often lines will give a rev as they go past, to say hello and also to show off their exhaust, mines so small I think someone took factory off and put a smaller one in it's place!
