  2. This is so ridiculous. Heres some piucs of the cameras and other info http://forums.rpmlounge.com.au/index.php?showtopic=675 I personally think it's a total joke! If you want people to stop speeding, MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THEY WILL GET CAUGHT IF THEY DO - then they wont speed in the first place. Hell, there is almost NOBODY stupid enough to speed past a camera that they KNOW is there! Makes me angry. Is there ANY way we can take a stand on this? Get everyone together and stop them doing this? the worst part is: Bastards.
  3. Exactly the reason i love it since the temperature has beeen heating up the last fewe days I've been loving the air con factor
  4. Open to offers - trying to sell it asap!
  5. I've got remote start on a manual but I had it done so that it wont start when in gear, or if the handbrake is off, or if the bonnet is open etc. No point taking a risk like that for a little bit of wank factor. And yes, i admit I got it done for the wank factor, but i was getting a good alarm installed anyway and it didn't cost much more. Plus the confused looks of passersby makes it all worthwhile
  6. When do we get to see photos?
  7. Was driving alongside a maroon r33 on sturt road on saturday - got a nod and gave a nod in return I was in the gunmetal 33
  8. I have been considering an SAFC II or an SAFC NEO on my car (fmic, intake, turbo back, adjustable cam gear) basically as a stepping stone, since I don't want to make much more than 200rwkw. Anyone had any experience with the NEO and know the major differences? Any idea if any of the traders on here sell them?
  9. Haha congrats, this thing has been for sale forever!

  12. I'm of the understanding that if you take an SA car to Victoria and get it defected, then it is only defected in Victoria. Take it to another state, or return to SA, and the defect does not stand. However if you never clear the defect in Vic, and then if you return with the same car (or the next owner does) then you can get busted by the vic police for it. Which is what people said on page 1 If you want to know if anything is defectable just give regency a call. The people there are the ones who can help. I enquired about a pod filter originally and they advised that as long as you don't affect anything to do with emissions, or change the AFM, then it's legal. Also Regency should be able to send you written information. Most mods are legal, but the catch is you need to get an engineers certificate for it to prove it. If you can provide the cop with written information proving your mod is legal, then he more than likely won't defect you for it, BUT if you get booksmart on them they'll often get cocky and find something else to defect you for :\ Bear in mind that getting through regency is different to being defected. Cops can get you for anything non-standard that they suspect to be an issue, and they force you to go to regency to get it checked out. If the cops are wrong, then regency will clear the car - but if they find anything that isn't legal, they won't clear it. AFAIK that's the point of the system.
  13. Yeah I'd say that's a good idea! Even so I think I'll end up going the route of a nismo FPR and a GTR pump, but It's going to depend on money in the end. Cheers for the help guys!
  14. Yeah S15 injectors would be my choice if I go down that path. If you do decide to get them make sure you get the RED ones NOT the purple ones. Some S15's come with one, some with the other, from memory.
  15. Thanks for that I guess my biggest concern is that my fuel pump or FPR might fail on me and I'll start running lean without noticing. I guess the SAFC would give me this info so I'll just have to keep my eye on it Cheers!
  16. I searched but couldnt find anything. At what power output does the standard fuel delivery system of the R33 GTSt S1 max out? I'm spending a few grand on power in a couple months and it should put me at the 200-210rwkw mark, and the last thing I want is to have something cause the car to lean out at high power and damage something. So I was thinking of also upgrading the fuel pump and FPR, maybe the injectors. Would it be worth it? ECU will be piggybacked by an SAFC II (I understand the drawbacks and benefits of these so this is not the topic of discussion) - so what brands of FPR + injector types are too extreme for even the SAFC to adjust to? Would the standard fuel system be sufficient? Any help would be nice!
  17. I'm interested in 1x Exhaust Side for R33/RB25 in Blue
  18. Tilbrook if you're north!
  19. Heres a DIY from these forums Normally this wouldn't cause your car to not start unless there was consistently no vacuum, however I recently had some issues with Idle hunting and occasionally the car firing but not starting, and this seemed to solve my problems. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...110431&st=0
  20. It normally just needs a clean if it's stuck open, or if its a split in one of the hoses, then that hose needs to be replaced.
  21. Saw a white m-spec 33 with bronze 17s on anzac hwy this morning on the way to work - first time i've seen it Whoever it was i was the gunmetal 33 in the left lane
  22. Could be no vacuum in the aac valve, at the back of the plenum near the bulkhead if it sticks open it can cause a vacuum leak at low revs and cause a stall, or it could stop it from starting at all.
  23. I'll keep that in mind, I've had the same problem the last couple days but I noticed its only happening in the heat (I'm in Adelaide too). At night or early morning its fine, but turn it on during the day when it hasnt been running for a few hours and it wouldnt stay on. I was worried it may have been something more sinister. I'll check my aac hoses as you've done first, also ill give the valve a clean, but definitely post again if you have more problems as the heat comes in!
  24. Mine looks the same and I've got a rocker cover gasket leak, just drips down in a scary spot is all hehe worth doing as the others said and cleaning it, checking for fresh oil, but do it soon because if it IS a main rear seal you dont really wanna drive on it and risk doing your clutch in.
  25. I have these skirts, Look great with any rear pods and an m-spec front bar! Somebody buy these!
