hehe cheers, so will they check EVERYTHING even if the ticket says to just check my tint? i don't want to have any more hassle about god knows what.

mm i got a yellow sticker for my tint on saturday night, i was very polite to both cops, even had a chat about the club i was parked in front of etc and other things, they then checked my tint (which is 15 instead of 35) and it gave a reading of 14.5 so i have to get it redone and go over the pits. do i have to book it or is it a wait in line thing? anyone able to tell me how much it will cost me to get it checked, i was going to get my side windows changed to 35 at a tinting shop. how do they check the tint at the pits? same way the cops do? with those little light meter things? cheers. bad start to my night indeed.

you do as they say "ALWAYS receive your parts" but they do take a bloody long time about it, seems quite unneccesary to me but ah well. they are ok though, from experience but not to good on the communications side of things.

whats the sound like? i have a single 3.5" cannon-type magnaflow on my NA R33 atm but would prefer dual twin tip exhausts like yours. how much for the full system?

i have another Stock R33 Airbag wheel for sale $120 + pp wheel is worn as usual but airbag is in perfect condition, has all bits and screws and bolts (plus the weight) etc minus the surround for the indicator stalks etc. pics attached. feel free to PM me if interested cheers

after much pondering... i want one :aroused:

work fulltime as a graphic/multimedia designer for a corporate design firm based in Subiaco. do a bit of freelance on the side, mostly logos, ads, rave/club flyers and websites. and when i have time i work on my own 3d/illustration stuff. i also like long walks by the river and cats.

hehe.. . well at the end of the day i ended up with having the stereo set into place properly, a replacement 'new' steering column and the dash got 'cleaned', not replaced though it had me fooled for a second and a bit of a discount. which all sounds fine apart from when you see the contradiction in their big poster of 'values' and the attitude i received, i'll be taking my business elsewhere. real happy with the stereo and i guess thats what matters but definately a bad start to my week, and a headache i didn't need.

pls explain? i have a wolf in mine, so far the only issue is the lack of tuners. if its going to be cooking my coilpacks then that might explain my engine troubles atm...

yeah spoke to the manager, he said he'd front the bill for a replacement steering column but not the dash as he didn't know what was there before etc. still going to take time and money getting that sourced and installed spoke to docep and they said if i have witnesses to the state of the car beforehand then i might be able to sort something. a friend of mine worked in the chain of stores and i will see if i can get in touch with the state manager as the level of care taken is terrible and going by the install guide on here, they just had no idea whatsoever on what they were doing. :(

well, as its my birthday this week i've been buying a few presents for the skyline... one of which was a new single din head unit to replace the factory abomination. i even managed to find the right pocket to fill the unsightly hole. i took it to a place near my work to get it 'professionally' installed and seeing as the manager owns a jap import, thought all would be well. went to check on the car at lunch as i had a feeling that the surround wouldn't be installed (something that always seems to happen whenever i have had stereo's installed). was talking to the installer, who upon first impressions seems not the most capable of people, and went over what needed to be done. as we did so i noticed that one of my switch covers in the dash was completely out of alignment with the dash... then noticed a few scratches on my dash, then some chips and then even chips and scratches on the right hand side of my steering column!! looks horrible now, well to me it does, i imagine we all look over our cars with the eye of an eagle. very unhappy with all of this and has put a right downer on a week that was going to be quite full of fun and modding. *sigh* ps. if anyone wants to know where i got it done PM me as i don't think i'm allowed to name the place on the forum.

need a few more polys in there i think, smooth it out a bit, or you could of course cheat with your textures
