  1. pssst... it could very well be lol. that would be much appreciated
  2. righto, have had a ring around but most places seem to either not know what i am after or do not have the correct size. anyone know where in Perth i can buy a Torx Tamper-Proof T50 Socket from? i believe Torx may be a snap-on tools brand but any brand will do, though snap on is nice. //B.
  3. did this on the weekend, nice DIY with clear instructions, very helpful and no more annoyance
  4. lol or not so clever editing... i must have seen the same scarborough footage with the yellow R34 about 2o odd times now! :looney:
  5. Sindows, thats not a 400R frontbar... its an odd TRUST knockoff, from Jetspeed i believe.
  6. cheers guys getting a new head unit, splits and some rears to revamp the stock stereo in my 33 and want to make sure i have everything before i go ahead with the install of course.. i'll have to learn to solder first
  7. so do you need any tools to wire the speakers up etc? solder, clips or electrical tape? pls excuse newbie audio question
  8. i've got a few things in mine including motion sensors, of course they aren't any good at stopping someone getting in lol
  9. which has nowt to do with style
  10. perhaps some of us designers can have a bash ey?
  11. ever wonder why the GTR never had S2 lights? well i doubt anyone would if it were free but with that JUN kit and the S2 lights it just looks too keke lala anyway... you have tri spoke rims don't you? if so nuffsed
  12. not a fan of S2 lights, looks a bit too 'cute' for me... has the mirrors i want though mmm ganador...
  13. through my accumulation of parking fines i ended up becoming known to the local subi ranger and he advised me of some areas that get 'missed' by inspectors :headspin: haven't had a ticket for over a year now. *knocks on wood*
  14. sorry to hear it but at least you still have your car don't understand these people. i had my valve caps stolen off my car (shiny titanium ones) in hilarys on the weekend, pissed me off but at least they didn't touch my rims or anything else... as far as i know, i only noticed this morning. i feel violated enough, i'm sure you feel worse.
  15. shame to hear abou this happening, i've always been interested in these dials but if they are going to require regular 'maintenance' then i might just design myself a custom dash.
  16. same here
  17. understand what you are saying quink i'd go either a fibreglass flat boot with a cf layer or full carbon but would prefer full carbon and be prepared to pay for the time and effort if the quality was good, which from the sound of it, it would be.
  18. burswood is good, mostly cos you have the casino, pools and restaurants there too good spa rooms too observation city is ok, but looks a bit drab compared to others
  19. DEFINATELY a flat R33 boot, either straight replacement or East Bear style. custom carbon never reply to anything so no way to get hold of them. i'd buy one off you today if you had them! also, taillight covers, pod heat shields, gauge pods... oooh i need to have a think of some more... splitters, grills, most replacement parts etc great idea good luck with it!
  20. oop sorry! they are sold now so feel free to delete thread
  21. Executive Car Hire might have some, i know there used to be that place called The Toy Shop... not sure if it just moved, or closed down... you could always try calling old Alf Barbagello and see if he'll let you borrow his
  22. O2 sensor..? i was having similar problems on mine, it all seems to point to an old O2 sensor atm. Falcon one seems to be the same.
  23. yeh like others have said there is plenty you can do, mostly through sound deadening...brown bread is one brand that is good. use as much as you can. if you put some inside your doors as well you will notice an improvement in the sound of the front speakers too
  24. true for Sony but not for Pioneer. i'd go either ALPINE or PIONEER, both are good brands, have a few friends in the car audio biz and they say both are good, Kenwood also for mid range pricing. Sony has gotten better but still isn't anywhere near the best.
  25. been reading about these for a while now, plus you get the new maxima's over here which look way to similar for my liking. they seem popular in the US... but it is the US i wonder if you can swap the engine into a 33...
