excellent, how do you get the tags under your avatar? admin option i take it i look forward to my little package in the mail
-
did you get the application and money ok? should have gone through by now, it's logged on my account.

as far as i have been told, as long as your pod filter is bolted to the chassis (via a bracket like the Apexi one) it can't be defected. the reason they can be defected is due to them coming loose. but it usually depends on the cops attitude, i have been pulled over a few times and i have an APexi pod and a loud exhaust and they didn't say a thing.

so, if you purchased a kit yourself, say front bar or something. where do you guys think is best to get it fitted? i've heard a few mixed responses over the past few months
-
have sent form and made deposit, only my username in the description is down as 'ASYLUM' not '//ASYLUM' as bank forms won't allow special characters actually... you might as well change my username to just that anyway, if you have the privs, if you get the chance thanks Dan.

signed. cheers uneekwahn

cheers! much appreciated. i'll be picking the car up tomorrow and testing the tune over easter but then i'll be bringing it back in next weekend to get it diagnosed etc.
-
yeh it is. i had the WOLF put in as it was the only way the other workshop could 'fix' the problem. which it hasn't completely. still, i am getting about 170rwhp... don't really want to buy an air flow meter just to diagnose the engine but it seems like it may be the only way atm
-
have taken my 33 to Hyperdrive to get the niggling idle problem sorted. Ken wanted to take out the WOLF hook up the standard ECU to run a diagnostic BUT it seems that the previous workshop, upon installing the WOLF ECU which does not require an AFM, removed mine and swapped it for an older one instead :hellpisd: So now it won't plug back in and so we can't do a diagnostic. *sigh* does anyone have a spare or know of anyone selling one so i can give it to Ken and see if i can get this sorted? cheers
-
yeah i have the same, looks terrible and must be removed when i get onto my dash mods

cheers

looks kind of cheap and nasty to me nice idea n all, except that it will blow the windows out according to the owner and the carpet and finish looks a bit off. impressive looking though.
-
*sigh* cheers 2GU UP 2... shame though as i haven't seen a carbon boot anywhere else apart from the East Bear or Do Luck items, i just want a straight swap with the fins.
-
has anyone ever managed to get hold of these guys? myself and a few others have sent plenty of emails to them but have had no reply for a few months i am really chasing a replacement bootlid for my 33 in carbon fibre. they have what i want but i have heard nothing.
-

Selling the rims off my R33 GTS as i have recently upgraded to 18s. simple 5 spoke rims in silver, the finish on one is damaged (not sure how it happened, looks like someone spilt something on it) would look nice sanded back and sprayed black or silver/gunmetal etc. come with tyres though rears are close to slicks now Am in Perth and taking offers. PM me for more details or queries. //b

been trying to get a bootlid through them for AGES! still no replies... has anyone managed to get in contact with them via email at all? -
having similar problems with my R33 for ages now, where are the knock sensors located? pics? i've had people go over it and even gotten an aftermarket ECU but the problem persists thx.

rev210 the intelligent comments in your posts are sadly contradicted by your sarcasm. just because i happen to drive an NA skyline does not mean i do not enjoy driving my car or performance, on road or off. do not assume to know me. i like neons, you'd like a plymouth barracuda, as i have said before, each to his own. i do not understand the sheer anger and disgust from some people when viewing cars with modifications that they deem 'unworthy' or 'rice' etc. you don't drive their car, nor do you have to stare at it all day every day so perhaps put this energy into a more productive form? there are hundreds of fast skylines... perhaps some people are attempting to stand out in some way. perhaps we should just respect each others decisions made about their own vehicles... then of course, forums probably wouldn't be as 'interesting'.
-
the term 'rice' is thrown around far too often. neons were around long before the F&F movies. i wasn't talking about skylines in particular. i refer to all cars. sure i think its funny to see an excel with flip paint and a crazy bodykit and $$$'s spent on all the crap but i am sure that they love their car just as much as me and who am i to say that it is silly? yes some bodykits are developed by large racing companies and improve traction and aerodynamics etc but most are copies or unresearched jobs, once again i am not only referring to skylines here. most rims on cars are not strong or well designed, merely chrome fob offs of famed designs or looks and can be quite dangerous and damage easily. thats right, no GTR here, cos if i could afford one, i'd spend the cash on an NSX instead it's the old 'each to his own' ... if you like it you do it, i bet some of those people you see with front wheel drive cars and huge GT spoilers think that spending countless amounts of cash on making your car do 300kph on roads where the limit is one sixth of that is kind of silly too. as for neons 'assisting' 4WDs to see better ??? why on earth would the driver be trying to look under his car as he is drving?? i think it is silly because they are so high up that the light is less effective and also that there is no 'floating' effect, you can see quite clearly where the neons are. oh and it's "you're" not "your", sorry personal annoyance heh.
-
i like LEDs/Neons, though as with anything it can be done the good way or the bad way. i have seen 4WDs with them and that is just silly. i have a particular setup in mind for mine and i still think they are as much for the driver as they are for anyone viewing your car. though in saying that, i don't really care whether anyone else likes my car as it is an expression of myself. some of these points people have made about you not seeing them... what about bodykits? rims? etc... why bother with a style at all? -if i owned a GTR i would remove all badges, even the GTR badges. some people will think that crazy but i don't like badges, i know it's a GTR and that is all that matters.
