  3. Hi all. I have a rb25 neo det head. Suit reco as needs new exhaust valves. Has been sitting for a few years in the shed. Has std cams. Genuine 5L8 casting. Pick up Beenleigh or can freight at your cost. $400
  4. It's not the direct downward pressure that kills the rods. Remember ignition is before tdc. So rod is on a slight angle. Also the other problem is pushing and pulling on the big end and little end. The big end normally lets go via the rod bolts.
  5. Cleaned up the welds and made sure it would flow well inside. Also opened up the t3 flange a bit to make sure that the gass flow is not obstructed.
  6. Yer had too. Couldn't get a good flow from the manifold.
  7. Cast number of the head should be 5l8 for turbo neo head and 5l7 non turbo neo. You will find it on the hot side.e above 2 and 3 ex port
  8. Well finally got of my backside and finished the manifold. Now it's off to the sandblasters then coating and machine mating faces. If anyone has any other ideas or suggestions let me know. My wastegate is off the rear houseing to a 45mm turbosmart gate. Let me know your thoughts.

  10. Just wanted to know if anyone has used these lines before for their turbo feed lines. Or where do you think I can get some.
  11. About to do this mod. But can't see any of the photos at the start of the thread. Can anyone put them back up. Thanks.
  12. Yer I got a price on them today. Fairly cheap and they are only a single spring not duel. Ferrea do a duel spring but are very expensive.
  13. Just spoke with supertech and they don't do spings for the neo head.
  14. Dose anyone know the part number for the 25 neo supertech valve springs?
  15. I too will be interested in how this goes too. Do you have a link to the build thread?
  16. Why risk a new engine on a chance. Rather do it right first time.
  17. In the same boat as you. Have been told that the neo head can handle 22psi on pump fuel and 25 26 on e85. But if wanting to run more than 22psi I need to upgrade the spings. Have been told by a few people to stay away from profamance spings and go for supertech spings. Been having problems finding them tho.
  18. Older car with nissan engine so have to run a surge tank. Looking at 500 to 550hp@rw. Can't use a inturnal pump. Might just fit a fuelab pump with variable speed.
  19. I'm having the crank modified to fit the 25 oil pump insted of running a collar set up. Better flow from a 25 pump from everything I have read.
  20. Just wanted to know what oil pumps others run. I'm looking at a 25 det pump. Has anyone ever bought one off ebay?
  21. I will take a look see
  22. Still haven't answered my question
