    Was speaking with a bloke the other day and he said that the top deck of the block needs a different finish for the cometic head gasket. Never used them before so don't know if this bloke was telling the truth or Tring to blow smoke up my arse.

    Ok. That tells me what I wanted to know. The dayco belt is just gine than and thats what everyone is using.

    You didn't read the question. What is the best brand belt to use and do I need the 25 or 30 idler and tencher

    Ok so have picked up the 30 head gasket and now trying to sort out the timing belt. Do you use the 25 tencher and idler or do you use the 30 ones. Also what brand belts is everyone using. Tried to find a t291 gates belt in racing series and gates Australia don't have them. I know people use the dayco std one but wanted to have something with better quality thats all.

    Ok thanks for that Ben. Have heard so many people say different things like 26 has built in o ring in gasket so wasn't sure.

    Ok. So I have the bottom end back and about to bolt it together. Just wanted to know what head gasket everyone uses in the rb30 25 neo builds. I know what thickness I need just not aure on witch one to use. 25 26 or 30. Whats the best one?

    Did you spray soapy water on all joints. Also can you hear any air coming out anywhere and do you get a presure reading or does it stay at 0. If so keep looking

    Will be up there. 550cc injectors in mine where just about maxed out.

    Found my problem this arvo. Changed plugs didn't do anything. Pulled fuel filter out. (Aeroflow reusable one ) stainless steel screen was blocked. Changed it from 80m to 30 m took for a run and was fine. Will pull the tank on the weekend and clean it out.

    Mine where all burning good. Tuner said hose must of fell off somewhere. Boost leak. Couldn't find any off so new set of plugs first the change fuel filter and check out the height of fuel pump in tank. After that. I'm at a loss so it will be going back to tuner if I don't find the problem

    Had problems with fuel as well. Couldn't run more than 18psi boost. Couldn't get enough fuel out of the walbro 460lt pump. Suppect it is sucking down on the bottom of the tank.
