G'day all, Anyone know of a reliable place south east if possible to fit/install a couple of extra gauges on an r33? (And hopefully won't rip me off doing it?) What would you expect to pay including installation for this job? I'm hoping to get 2-3 on dash or Pod mounted actually.. Any feedback always appreciated.. Thanks heaps once again.

Thanks Marsss... much appreciate the feedback!. Sounds like its not like you have to remove the entire dash either with 200 screws to get to the cluster.. (hope that's true!!???????!!) lol. *fingers crossed*

Hi all Wondering if anyone has replaced the dash lights on their R33 with another colour & if so, is it a difficult job? Have looked for links / web vids on the net for something like this but found nothing yet. Wondering if its an easy enough job if you want to get some new lighting for your instruments (just replace bulbs) Any ideas / links really appreciated. M/Thanks

Same here. That whole area is a great spot - it's huge, really open and well lit - good for photos too! (Normally i'd stop for a coffee there which is ok.. can't eat the donuts though ... baaaaad!)

Krispy Kremes (N/Warren) used to be such a hot spot for meets about 11 on a Sat night. Nothing much happens there anymore I will sometimes roll past and always hope to see some nice rides parked there though but no go. Was a good place to meet though.

Was nice to meet a couple of people at this meet for the first time. Thanks to a couple who took time out to chat to me & say hi. Showing up on your own, first time.. not easy. Cheers.

Just wondering if anyone is interested in a Meet/Greet/Cruise this weekend sometime Depending on interest for this I was going to see if we could work out a place to meet & greet then have a cruise? Starting maybe somewhere along Princess Hwy ? Suburbs could be Narre Warren / Pakenham / Cranbourne / Berwick / Dandenong / or even closer in towards the city? Day / Night, doesn't matter. Somewhere for us all to park would be ideal ofcourse Unless there is something already on I don't know about. Would be great to know if anyone's interested? Anyone know if something like this takes place already? Esp for newbies like me? If anyone interested or has any suggestions, that'd be really appreciated. Cheers SKYG1RL

Hi - nice car you have there. Bought myself something similar recently and i'm new to the scene. I'm Narre Warren North area. Used to live in Frankston myself. Not many skylines in my neck of the woods either. I'm in a silver R33. If i see you i'll be sure to wave I don't know anyone yet and I know not many females around that are into Skylines. Be great to meet anyone though who's an enthusiast like me. I've not joined SAU officially yet but will be asap. Anyone know of any cruises / park / meet & greet type events that happen around south east suburbs? Narre Warren / Cranbourne / Pakenham / even further south or towards the city side of the stump at all and when? Is there a regular meet or cruise on weekends etc? would love to take part. i remember a big bunch of cars that used to meet & park at the Krispy Kreme carpark in Narre Warren/Fountain Gate about 10pm on Fri or Sat nights sometimes, that seems to have disappeared now. Think that might have been Vic Street Scene crowd. Not sure. Any advice appreciated - Pls drop a line anytime to say hi. Hope to meet some of you soon

HI all, I've got an R33 and want to put a Sub woofer, Amps & maybe rear shelf speakers in. I've got an Ok Kenwood head unit that's not too old. And 2 new door speakers. The sound is awful. I'm wondering if anyone knows if places like JB Hi Fi / Supercheap auto / Autobarn would be best? I went into 2 of these stores already saying I only wanted to spend about $800 on 2 amps & a sub woofer cuz i already have the head unit & speakers (for now) He ended up trying to sell me $2000 worth of equip. (This was at Autobarn) I go in there, i'm female and i'm an easy target. I'd like to find somewhere thats fair & can provide sub & amps that will give good base & clear sound without distortion or popping. I'm not showing or doing anything flash, Just want to hear good basey sound. I thought about buying privately but too risky if you dont know what to look for. My clarion door speakers are basic, The rear shelf speakers need upgrading. I'd like a 4 channel amp & hopefully one that can run all speakers & the sub (If thats even possible) Thanks heaps. Any advice / recommendations appreciated. I dont know which goes with what and its scary & expensive when you're a chick as they see you as easy prey i think. I need it installed too! I"m in South East Melbourne. Is Strathfield car radio for example better? I dont want to get ripped off, want to be looked after & most importantly want my car looked after & a job done well.
