when does series II start? I am considering a 11/98 build ... is that series I then I assume?

what about powerplay on victoria road? anyone used them for checking? I heared good things about them ... any thoughts on them? otherwise I will go with either UAS or BD4s....

I know this sound like a silly question, and it's probably been covered before... but tell me, based on the example car below ... how much would you pay for it privately? * Nissan Skyline R34 GT-T * Manual Transmission * No modifications * Year model: 1998 and above * KMs: 40,000 Kilometers or less I am thinking around 35-36 K if the car is imaculate both mechanically and bodywise. Please advise

well .... it won't hurt to seek legal advice to see what his rights are ... end of the day unfortunatly he made a mistake ... but no-one is perfect and we all make them. personally I agree with part of what lwells said. why did he buy if it seemed dodgy. even if I was on a budget, I'd rather save some more and wait, rather than rush and buy a potential cut-n-shut. anyway ... that aside, no one "deserves" to be ripped off. (that was a little harsh I thought) get your friend to go see a lawyer, or if he doesn't have money then go see LegalAid (look it up in Yellowpages or something), and see what you can do. Also speaking to the Fair Trading Commission via the phone wouldnt hurt (again to see what your rights are and what the responsibilities of the dealer / seller are) Was the seller a "registered dealer", or was this more of a private sale? it will change the rights of your friend and the responsibilities of the selling party, depending on the terms of the sale. Good luck to him. I hope everything turns out okay. PS. and as far as the PRICK who banged him on the side and drove off ... that makes me very very VERY angry. Someone could have been killed and he drove off. I hope he gets what he/she deserves.

I've driven a few WRXs, and they are very nice, quick cars. I loved driving in the wet around corners and round-abouts in them. Totally fun!! Congrats mate, I hope you enjoy your new car. They are very well built, and in some ways quite under-rated. If I had the budget I'd *personally* get a STi, but for now, I'll keep searchin for my R34 GTT. All the best and happy driving!

dave just off topic for a sec ... how much does it cost roughly (labour) to fit a front mount intercooler? ps. I'll be gettin in touch with you soon for some rims... do you source rubber too?
