Jesus its been ages since a post. Well short story long i am starting up my own business from home called 'RS Fab' so have been flat out on customers cars and builds etc.. i only have permission to post one of them currently but will hopefully be able to post the other one that was completed last night and delivered today! So this is a Dodge D5N pickup truck This is how it arrived to me. Its a LWB with a SWB tray so started by fabbing up a new tray for it Then was sent for a respray and we have just fitted a Jaguar XJ6 front end and we are in the midst of fitting a new built 9" with fabbed housing and converting it to 4 link Can go into more details but might at a later date this is more a thread for the r34 so dont want to clutter it toooo much just thought you might get a kick from it.... PS its still cool because its a 440 big block V8... Twin turbo

Abs Removal - Question About Piping And Master
rcs_888 replied to Birth's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Sorry to bring up an old thread but could those pictures be re posted? I have an R34 GTT that im building for track only and have removed the ABS module and kept the original master with 2 outlets. I just ran a small section to a 'T' piece that splits to both front calipers and then the other outlet from the master goes to my firewall through the firewall to hydro handbrake and then back to the rear circuit. Bled it up yesterday and i have a solid brake pedal and the calipers are stuck on. Cant workout whats happened -
Hey guys, Building my R34 GTT up as a track car and have finnished off brake lines today. removed ABS etc.. and got the missus to help me bleed up the system and she was complaining that is has a heavy pedal i thought oh yeah what ever your used to your daily. Now i have hopped in and it is locked up all 4 corners pretty much. Now when i removed the ABS module i did take for granted that the F and R on the ABS pump meant front and rear circuit so i have run my lines accordingly directly from the master. So the outlet on the master closest to the firewall is the front circuit and the outlet at the front of the master is the rear circuit(also has a 'R' in the casting) now i have bleed up many cars no problem but what im wondering is with the abs pump is the 'R' line not rear is it actually a return? dont have the abs pump anymore so i cant have a look at it. Hopefully someone can shed some light on the issue otherwise it looks like i might need to go and get an R33 non ABS master cylinder. Cheers

Push Pull Conversion For R34 Gtt
rcs_888 replied to kls83's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Sorry to bump an old thread but for further people searching i used a conversion kit from Extreme Clutches (http://www.australianclutch.com.au/)and there kit was awesome and reasonably priced. I converted because im now running a twin plate 204mm chromo flywheel etc and i wasnt able to find one on the market for a R34 GBox -
well were getting alot further now managed to get it running and idling, running abit high but good enough for the moment will be doing some more tinkering on the tune this weekend when i can do it during the day and outside the shed was starting to get too late haha. Playing with fuel and timing maps and just teaching myself has been a long process but im loving it!

Lookup greddy plenum on r34 there was a guy who had a r33 plenum and used the r33 iacv

Not the best video but getting closer still doing plug checks and the plugs are wet still so not too lean just dieing from raw fuel https://youtu.be/Ltkz1RNfkg0

Its a sport 1000. I got the base R34 map but because the stock r34 runs a 330cc injector it was set for the duty cycle needed for the 330cc now running 1600 ive had to drop back the tables massivley. I now have it starting unhappily but starting. As for the IAT and the CTS i found that you can save calibration tables so i saved a holden VN IAT table and loaded that into the map and was mint so rather happy about that. Once i workout how to upload videos i have a short startup video. Also some pictures... Cleaned up alot more of the loom that used to run under the dash Still looks dirty but i think once its all painted one colour it will be much better. Also buttoning up the engine bay, have fitted the front bar and guards etc.. once its on wheels i will roll it back and need to drill holes in the bar for more air into the oil cooler and FMIC and will be making a headlight duct soon. Also machined up a bung for the IAT Sensor Not the worlds best welding but 3 months ago i couldnt weld alloy to save my life haha Also persisted with the MSD leads and managed to get them all made and found a tricky little way of making pushing the lead through way easier Silicone on silicone sticks so drilled out a 10mm bolt and used that.

Wire in but i have a stock r34 map but the haltech is reading 6*c and just seems low so wanted to double check
-
Coolant temp sensor sorry guys shouldve elaborated on that lol
-
Hey buddy i have just changed to bosch 1600cc injectors and a new rail so i have my old stuff available if your interested? Old injectors, plug and rail etc..
-
Hey guys. I have been searching high and low for the stock RB25 Neo CTS calibration numbers. Just to clarify its the one with the BLUE plug. Needing it to put into my Haltech Cheers guys
-
So today finished up the haltech wiring but my CTS and IAT sensor calibration information i got seems to be abit off so going to need to find out whats happening with that. But as for the fuel maps im not 100% sure i have gone about it the right way but i just need a tune to get it on the trailer lol. But i have a map for a stock engine/injectors now the map is around the 50 to 80% so with a 300cc injector at 50% it allows through 165cc of fuel so my 1600cc injector to allow through 165cc of fuel needs to be at 10.3% duty cycle.. and 62% = 186cc = 11.6% and so on and so forth... so will see what i can do tomorrow but kicked it in the ass today and she wanted to but smelt extremely strong of fuel so probs flooded. Only issue is my Innovate LC 2 hasnt arrived so cant check the afr accuratley will post pics tomorrow
