Guard Rolling + Wheel Alignment
bnpcustoms replied to Manuel Kasko's topic in Australian Capital Territory
We do guard rolling, and there is always a risk of cracking the paint or flaking at the seam of the guard where it tucks under when lipping the guard. When rolling the guards out it becomes a bigger risk as you are stretching a wide area of the paint just above the lip and thats why most shops including us mention before work comences that there is a risk that it can crack/flake the paint when rolling/lipping even with a heat gun.. The reason shops mention the risk is to cover the shop if there are any cracks in the paint due to rolling the guards and the paint not being flexable. We charge $50/guard to roll/lip we arent able to do wheel aligning yet. -
Hi Guys, Trying to find some local parts. We are in need of a RB20 high mount manifold And a RB25 Throttle position sensor. Thanks

Planning to run between 18-24psi as it was tuned running 22psi mind you the engine has a fair bit of internal mods hence why the plan is to go for the large turbo.. We did look at the precision 6765 with a .8 rear. Which would give 500rkw which would lower the boost level down a little with more to play with. Btw Thanks for all your imput guys.
-
The setup for the car at the moment is for 350rkw. It was making 345rkw when the current turbo went. We are looking at the Precision 6262. Having heard that the Precision Turbos are pretty good.
-
Yeah as mentioned hypergear and kando turbo's are not quite close enough, although the hypergear ATR45 is close but on border being close enough.
-
Hey Guys, In need of a turbo, currently running a 3540, trying to get a turbo close to or the same, second hand is ok providing there is not shaft play. Thanks
