Couple of weeks ago I saw "DIE YOU YUPPIE SCUM" spraypainted all over the front bonnet & windscreen of a boring falcon.. probably a shitey 95 model or something.. of course this was in melbourne, practically across the road from housing dept flats.. hate to think what they'd do to a Skyline or HPV. I've seen a fair few people park outside housing dept flats down here (nice GTRs and all).. crazy melbournites! I never park anywhere near the general public in shopping centres, always park in the rain/on the top and as far away from the shop entrance as possible.. otherwise I come back to a new scratch every time.. Definately wouldn't park anywhere in Surrey Hills in Sydney, after living there for a few years a while back.

Have you still got the dash lower surround? How much do you want for it... any pics & are you able to send it to Melbourne or will it need to be picked up.. Thanks dude Kaz

I left work an hr early on Thursday and it barely friggin rained here! Still no hail! At least in Sydney if it started raining it would keep raining all day.. Down here, leave with a jumper on, come home boiling... GAAAAH. As long as its moderate weather for the BBQ..

We'll be there tomorrow after the bbq I think, don't know which car we'll be in though!

Managed to pull a matching relay out of my offroad Gazelle.. bar one instance of rough idling, everything seems to be sorted *hooray*.. See how we go.. if you see us on the side of a freeway tonight, you'll know it didn't work out Thanks alot for all the help! Kaz PS The winner was: the corroded relay in the boot!

ahh ok...so what am i holding? the green cased thing i'm holding has the above pic on it :confused: also what page of the w'shop manual are you on? I'm finding it pretty hard to read through it as an electronic copy

also, the relay is green, and the other green relays in the car seem to to have the same numbers moulded into the casing. ie: top looks like this: 3 o-o/ o-o 5 1 o-nnn-o 2 (the n's are the closest i could represent the image ) 46n2

anyone know off the top of their heads how many amps the relay is (fuel pump control modulator)???

thanks two.06l Blind Elk: do u know which of the 2 relays in the kick panel are which? just for future reference in case swapping out this relay doesn't fix the issue... Going down to the servo to see if i can get a replacement today 46n2

Hopefully found the cause of the problem... Fuel pump relay appears to be in the boot (thanks for the help in this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=58344).. The terminals on the relay are corroded, and so time to get a new relay and see if it sorts it out... 46n2

pretty certain it' the one in the boot because i touched it while the car was running and it started to jump it's idle between 300rpm and 2000 rpm hOORAY! unplugged the relay and the terminals are corroded, so time to get a new relay. w000t 46n2

oooooooooook guess we will have to pull the boot apart to have a look.. love that conflicting info :

Posted for 46n2.. Does anyone know where the relay for the fuel pump is in an R32?!?! Wiring diagram shows that between the ECU and fuel pump there is a relay and I need to know where this is asap, I think its in the fuse box, any help really appreciated. Thanks guys...

gtr wheels are normally wider by a couple of inches I think.
