  1. ^^^^ do you think it will be ready in time? i'm eagerly awaiting the debut of the strokers in rwd modified class, it's going to be awesome!
  2. S.O.B!!!!!!! that is the coolest thing that's happenned around here for along time! not that sauvic is uncool, that is just uber uber cool. congratulations! Greg.
  3. I would support a donation fund, not a huge donation but something between $20-$50, just to stick it up the wrx club Our trailer is better than yours... although that is very rough and quite shitty, you get the idea... the rear seat section of a rear cut could be enclosed and hold all of the utensils/other random shit. then the bbq gas bottle could be placed where the original fuel tank was... hmmm now we just need someone who's a bit handy with annoying projects like this...
  4. sell your e46 and buy a 6cyl e36 then add a turbo kit, much better, or even have a look around for one, they aren't that rare.
  5. the rear cut of an r32/r33 is what's needed, open the boot and there is a 5-6 burner bbq installed. i have a picture of an s14 that has been turned into a bbq on my pc at home.... if i remember i'll post it up.
  6. just a little further off topic this thing is cool! http://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45705 edit: another stupid/slightly crazy french idea http://team-auvergnate.goodbb.net/Vos-Proj...urbo-t288-0.htm
  7. replied to pm's but still for sale. thanks Greg.
  8. this thread is classic. i've given up any hope of making it to PI as a driver... In order to make it I would have to get my car from completely stock standard back to it's modified state, the calculator will not permit whilst saving for a midyear os trip... so instead I will be launching the official team, "let's get sunburnt again, spectating". g@y
  9. I still have the box it came with, and can probably dig up the receipt too.
  10. I have a momo competition steering wheel in very good condition for sale. (350mm) It comes complete with momo horn button and black centre ring, which the allen keys go through, so, everything in the picture below. I still have the original box the wheel came with, the whole package is in very good condition, the leather has no scuffs or scratches or cracks, the car is garaged so the wheel isn't exposed to the sun for hours a day. will sell for $230
  11. Come to think of it, this is more "Le Mans" Le Mans would be too loud for the swedes
  12. I will be expecting some special dane angular photography, you guy's will have an "absolut" blast!
  13. just shit stirring mate but a general rule for anyone who is undertaking something like a track car, the budget will ALWAYS be blown way before your even half way through.
  14. where are the well sorted 15k s13's? i'd like 2 please... i'm sure dane could probably have 3 by now.
  15. I'm noticing most of the above are car specific, do people think a moto helmet will be less suitable? i don't see why they would be, but i'm not experienced on the topic, i'm looking at: make:AGV model: GP Pro purchase price: starting from $529 I think the matt black is the cheapest (529), and then the price increases with design/colour. I think I like the matt black. personal rating: TBA at this stage, but some features are: Race/Street performance helmet. Value for Money Aramyde/Carbon Fibre Shell - Super Light Shell Removable /Washable Coolmax Liner X-Vent Ventilation System Race Flat Visor picture: Any opinions?
  16. I have been doing some research into helmets in the last few weeks, nothing too serious just some casual comparisons. I was in the city on saturday afternoon and was close enough to bother popping into some motorcycle stores, my gf loved it! A couple of close mates have sparco helmets and they cost upwards of $1000. To me, a $100 helmet = a $100 head, but in the same sentence i'm not entirely convinced i'll need to spend $1000-$2000 on a helmet, can't something comfortable and safe be had for around the $500-$750 bracket??? is it going to be as safe to use a helmet predominantly designed for a bike rather than splashing out on something more car orientated? Maybe some of the motorsprt guys/girls could post up what they wear in a simple format? Make: Model: Purchase price: Personal rating: attach a pic: (if you can be bothered) in the personal rating, just a couple of comments describing comfort/weight, whether the linings are removable for cleaning etc... maybe rate it out of 10? don't start a safety first flame match, i'm looking for good information and a healthy discussion on what keep's your noggin from receiving a floggin
  17. nice! love the workmanship, how long has the build taken?
  18. I am after greddy gauge sensors, annoying little part i know, but if anyone can help that would be great. the gauges i have are electrical, and have everything i need with them, except the actual sensors. the engine is s13 sr20det: i need: oil pressure sensor oil temp sensor water temp sensor pm me with anthing that will assist me that would be great. ta, Greg
  19. I must have been lucky too, Perhaps with the amount of police sending imports and the similar turbo sports cars through places like macleod, the employees are getting slacker, over worked? that would be a nice scenario... on the other hand, when i was there the blokes were really friendly and if you treat them with some respect it goes a long way. goodluck.
  20. same thread as in the ns motorsport section. looks like the r32 is getting the vote so far!
  21. sad stuff... on the other hand, there are plenty of alternatives, i'm just glad i've got my apexi gear for my car .
  22. both items are now sold.
  23. looks like major repairs, boot floor and right hand rear quarter panel, ouch!
  24. ok Rekin i will let you know. the buyer is coming over tonight, so we'll see how it goes. in the mean time here are some pics: I still can't tell what the specs are, i am a total newb with this stuff, the picture showing the rear of one of the subs was taken by me putting my arm into the box through the port.
