  2. I have for sale 2X 12 inch earthquake sub's in a professionally made box they were used for about 12 months and are still in 100% working order, removed from car as i started playing a round of golf every fortnight or so, and haven't bothered to put them back in. no longer needed. quicksale $150 melbourne sth east pickup is welcome or can meet a buyer half way. can also add an amp to power them for another $100 thanks Greg. PS: these subs really thump, and i can hook them up if the buyer would like to hear them running.
  3. gti golfs are awesome! soooo much fun to push through corners.
  4. looks like you had some fun, lol at the "classic australiana vehicles" in those pics...
  5. to save some money you could source the parts yourself, Tubesales in Thomastown deliver high quality stainless steel bends and straight pieces anywhere in melbourne for around the $10 mark, if you are from the east side it is definately worth having it delivered, the bends are approx $23 each and the 3 inch stainless is approx $16 per meter. I found it to be pretty cheap. they are in the white pages and are pretty good to deal with.

  11. I'm curious to know lap times? A: for your gtr B: for that F40, was he going full pace or was it more of a cruise lap approach? they are one of my all time favorite cars... "remembers watching joshua tree as an impressionable 13yo"
  12. I can't believe the shit i'm reading in here... cayenne turbo comfortably laps a quicker time around the ring than bmw's m3 and the boxter s, that alone is enough to shut anyone down who thinks the cayenne isn't a real porsche. they are designed for wealthy people who like to drive fast, in germany they have these amazing roads that allow you to travel at high speeds (autobahns) porsche released a family car that performs like a sports coupe. only small minded people avoid or disapprove of change, open your minds.
  13. nice one
  14. congratulations. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=145478
  15. this was sold pending payment........ I have been stuffed around by the last buyer, while i held the item for him i was approached by 3 other prospective buyers. I will not hold it for anyone, first in best dressed from now on. I will accept $180 including postage, or $170 for a quick pick up. these retail at around $260 on nengun, the only difference is mine doesn't come with a box, it is in as new condition. thanks, Greg 0401 873 739 (i'm located in Glen Iris, Melbourne, Victoria)

  17. This has been an interesting read. A good mate of mine recently bought a midnight blue boxter "05 model, the car feels a little funny driving around with the roof down with two guys in it if you get what i mean. He opted for the 18 inch wheels and the manual box, the car is a demon, it grips, it turns and it stops fantasticly, when i went for a ride in it he had only had the car for 4-5 days and he was steering it like he was born in the drivers seat, The car seems (like most porkas) very easy to drive, i doubt you would be putting your bum into an "05 model though with the price you had in mind so perhaps put it off for a while until you can afford a newer model, it's like anything new, wait until they have released a few models before you jump on the bandwagon, mainly because it gives the builder time to iron out any creases. happy steering.
  18. Hey Nick it's Greg off ns.com (hotesx). this car is the dogs bollocks people, so similar to mine, and would make for a good car to do club events in next year, cheap maintenance compared with a gtr/gtst and still heaps of fun, the rwd line up for club sprints next year has never looked so good so someone buy it and enter the sau championship next year. gluck with the sale. Greg.
  19. damn that is way sooner than what i expected, i'm not even back from holidays at that stage, let alone having a car ready, i'm aiming for late feb debut...... but in car land nobody knows what that actually means.
