  1. try and find a late model black STI to look at (i think it's '03), they have pretty cool black paint witrh a subtle gold pearl through it, which shows up really nicely in the sun light. plus if you can get your hands on that paint/code you won't have problems down the track with matching the paint accurately. goodluck.
  2. i've had the hankook k104's on my road car for about a year now, they wear quite well, but as they wear the noise increases, when first had the tyres they felt like they had quite a soft side wall but that feeling soon disapears, they grip fairly well in most conditions. conclusion: Although they are a good tyre, i will spen dmore next time.
  3. mine have arrived
  4. no different to you driving through two fixed speed cameras, wipe off five.
  5. Your silver r32 gtst is a credit to gtst's sounded like a menace on the front straight of sandown yesterday... yesterday was good fun from a spectators pov, bloody deano's s14 again with the bullshit... this time a fuse decided to continually keep blowing, and he eventually ran out of fuses to put in the spot, thanks to a very friendly bloke the car was able to be towed back to melbourne, and he got to finish the rally in the back up car. great to see nissans out there, well done to everone, oh and watching Adam Newton on the last run of the motokhana shows how good a driver he really is.
  6. I got a call just then, (9am monday) to confirm my delivery today.
  7. you will have to wait and see... not so much a blue suede dancing shoe, more of a browny bronze size 18 running shoe
  8. My money has been deposited as of approx 12:15pm today wed 13th sept. looking forward to my shining new discs
  9. Yeah car's all up and running, no issues (finger crossed, touch wood etc etc) new smile and new shoes! car has been retuned, and is approx 230kw. the issues were pissy little teething problems that unfortunately stopped the car from doing a few more track days. see you sunday
  10. this will be your problem, i have an avcr and it makes the same noise, farken annoying sounds similar to detonation, which freaks me out sometimes. Some are louder than others, a good friend has one that's almost twice as loud as mine, next time your car is on the dyno try and get close to the boost controller solenoid, you will here that little tapping noise.
  11. Hey you forgot about Deano, well i guess he's an associate, but still kind of SAU, Dean and his old Man are entering in the black s14.5... i went and had a look at scrutineering last night, clean shorts were needed. some of the mini's are going to be unstoppable in the tighter events, and the porkas and the........... well everything. goodluck, be safe and have fun! see you sunday!
  12. two people this week doing what they love... RIP Peter Brock.
  13. the guy who posted it up on Ns.com is generally a decent post maker, and doesn't have any reason to bullshit about something like this. fingers crossed he's ok.
  14. can I ask why you are avoiding the dimpled ones?
  15. looks impressive, where did you get the tubing? i could use some stuff like that.
  16. my username is R32gts-t because when i became a member on sau i had a '93 r32gts-t, i have an s13 now. the discs arer 296mm in diameter, i'm fairly sure r32gtst's have a front disc diameter of 280mm. i bought these because i thought my s13 had r33gtst/r32gtr brakes, but i found when i went to put these on that i have r32gtst brakes, hence the reason they are for sale. no other reason. $100 has been offered by a few people, some interstate, some in melbourne, $120 will close the deal. ta. Greg
  17. definately insure it, the chances of a bonnet getting damaged is far greater than most other parts.
  18. too expensive??? make me an offer, you may be surprised
  19. OH AND THOSE WITH R32 GTS-T i am sure your rear rotors are the same with R33 GTS-t but please can you double check if your rear rotors are 297mm or the smaller 266mm (I was guessing this is non-turbo) - it is best to be safe now rather than sorry later if it's too big to fit your caliper. Your doing a great job so far, keep up the good work. one thing though, if the front rotors on an r32gtst are 280mm diameter, you wouldn't think the rears are going to be 297mm, i'll try and measure mine tonight because the prices are that good i will probably end up buying fronts and rears edit: ok well i checked last night and the rears are in fact 297mm.
