  3. Hi Guys, i've got these parts available: I'm located in sth east melbourne, and will ship at buyers expense. additional pictures can be found here: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...p;#entry5410059 Do Luck Monkey Brace for s13/180sx (may fit skyline, i'm not sure): $280 Alloy strut brace for s13 silvia/180sx: $50 Magnaflow 3 inch stainless Muffler: $100 Hand built intercooler water srayer for s13 (can be used on other cars too) this bolts up to the front reo on an s13, using factory holes, and hooks up to your washer bottle, you then use your windscreen wiper arm in the cabin to activate the sprayer. high quality bit of gear, that doesn't weigh much, perfect for keeping inlet temps down during warmer months on the track: $120 Jap tube and fin intercooler, came on a car i imported a few years ago, it cooled 200kw with ease, the core without end tanks is 40cm across, approx 35cm tall and fit's nicely behind the front bar: $80 i'm slightly neg on prices, but won't reply to stupid offers. best way to contact me is via pm: thanks, greg-
  4. That's good power for a t28bb, nice and reliable power. i was hoping/expecting roughly 220 on 1.1 bar, but fell 30kw short. i guess i should pony up and feed it more boost, perhaps the mixtures are a little stodgy also, when i was having it tuned i did ask for reliability over a big number. Dane: yeah, mainly wanted to keep the boost at around that level, but the general consensus i'm getting in here is to wind it up... i'm tempted to take it elsewhere for a run on another dyno, and perhaps get someone else's input on it, having said that once you have a bit of a relationship with a shop, and they know the car it feels strange going elsewhere. especially with the rumour mill surrounding workshops in the local car scene...
  5. ok,no time like the present... (just tell me if i'm hijacking the direction of this thread)... bit's and pieces: bosch 040 550cc inj apexi pfc avcr z32 afm hks 2540 arc intercooler s14 na throttle body tomei poncams and ras tomei dump pipe 3 inch front pipe 3.5 inch metal cat twin pipe fujitsubo cat back larger than 3.5 inch in total the car is predominantly a road car, although that statement is becoming less and less true. boost was set at 1.1 bar for the tune. to be honest even though my setup would be considered mild compared to some i expected a little more hp, and the curve isn't all that smooth either, it was a warm day back in nov 08, but both me and the tuner expected 20-35rwkw's more than what the sheet shows. i'm not upset with the power, and to be honest i probably cannot use it all as yet (limited track experience) but it doesn't change the fact i thought there would be more. any idea's on what is/might be missing?
  6. what boost was this dyno run on? that's a great figure for the 8 cm! i can see that cams are important... i'm jealous of all of these sr20det power readings, my setup is suffering a lack of power... i'm half willing to put up with the power that i've got because i don't want to uncover a tired bottom end in diagnosis, but at the same time i think the setup i have should be making more hp than it is. i'll try and get a my dyno sheet up, if i can find it... someone might have some insight for me. ps: Baron, i've been using the tomei poncams in an s14a motor with standard valve train, for approx 8000 kms, mainly "hard" kms, i'm fairly sure my rev limiter has been lowered to around 7200, i'm not sure how much of a difference that would actually make to longevity... anyway, no problems yet "touch wood" mind you, the power curve in my car feels quite flat, i'm not sure what the reason for it is yet, when i get the dyno print out up and perhaps someone here may have some input after i list the bit's and pieces...

  16. I have a full cage that i'd like to sell. I was originally going to hang on to it to put it in my s13 when i retire it from day to day use, but now that my car is good and reliable i've decided to put off the purchase of a daily car. roll cage is located in sth east of melbourne, and comes with all bolts and mounting plates. however, if i was to install it i would update/upgrade the bolts. $800 or nearest reasonable offer low ballers will be ignored. pictures: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...p;#entry5313447
  17. that s14 looks great! any more details?
  18. these looked to be sold, but are now available again. i would like space in the garage... $225
  19. I've been stopped once, but they were great, just a RBT and i was on my way... i was wrapped! i think keeping it nice and clean and having 4x4 ride height combined with the apexi evc help alot. plus i barely drive it.. i was pumped for HH until the date was changed, i can't make it to winton in Oct either, so I will have to settle for Deca in Nov and Perhaps Calder in sept but calder doesn't really excite me...
  20. cleaning out my camera yesterday i stumbled across a few shots i took at sandown a couple of months back...
  21. no, i still have them, and as i said, the repair work they did was so good i can't actually see which part of the wheel has been repaired. it balanced up perfectly aswell.
  22. Dane: your car is looking like a pretty serious package now, you have addressed everything in the build up, i can't wait to see it in the flesh. Some solid seat time and tinkering out the little issue's will have you at the pointy end of the rwd set in no time. yep, that's my car's "engine bay" hardly call it neat, there's wires and crap everywhere! I finally got around to putting on a rocker cover that i painted moons ago, black crinkle coat from a can, it came out well. so i treated the car to a clean yesterday:
  23. the wheel they repaired for me was an r33gtr wheel, it had what sounds to be similar damage to yours, it wasn't a problem for them at all, and i can't see where they repaired it. they did a great job. the repair was on the inner edge of the wheel... call them, they will tell you to take it down there.
