Hey there guys, I've been looking to buy a front bar for my car for.. ages. Viva Garage has two to pick from (Masa and Dolphin clones) - 300 + (180 shipping) for the front bar. Blits has the dolphin replica + dolphin sideskirts - 450 + 330 + (315 shipping). The question I'm asking is; has anyone purchased and fitted a Stagea kit from either of these vendors? I'm concerned about the quality and fit. Obviously the cost savings of Viva are tempting, but if it's going to cost me 100-200 more at the painters then the savings go out the window. If anyone can give me their 2c I'd be grateful. - Dervish

Hey there guys, It brings me great distaste to put my 2000 S2 Stagea up for sale. I've owned it for a little over two years, and the car has been everything a car should be. I am the first owner of the car in Australia. I bought the car from an importer in Queensland by the name of MJR Motorsport. I bought the car with 56,000 km's and currently it's at approximately 83,000 kms. Fortunately the car is in the same condition as the day it came off the TNT truck. The reason for selling the car is as a 20 year old uni student, it's not exactly the most practical car to own (tiny uni and work parking). I've recently decided to extend my time at University (by at least three years); as a result I can't see kids being born soon, and thus the benefits of the car aren't utilized to their full potential. Outstanding Features: Silver in colour. Tiptronic Auto. Leather electric seats. Woodgrain steering wheel and dash. Dual Sunroof. Adjustable rear seats. Central Locking. Electric Mirrors. Heated Seats. Cup holders front and rear. Climate Control. The complete Dayz bodykit. Self locking Mercedes style boot. Full Stagea floormats. The leather and woodgrain Stagea's are said to be the Nismo editions of the S2's. I'm not sure if that's true, but I am sure that this particular model has all of the top of the line extras of the S2's. Modifications: Exterior: Obviously the 17" BBS LM Rims, which have Brand new Pirelli Dragons put on Friday 30/01/09. (So far I've done about 150km on them). Dolphin like Grill. Eyelids. Windows are tinted, to the darkest legal tint. (Had it as dark as the cabin section, but I had to change it when I took it over the pits). Exhaust: HKS Super Drager catback. (It sounds very quiet and low in tone, until you put your foot down. Quite sleeper, exactly how I wanted it). X-Force high-flow Cat. JJR bellmouth front/dump pipe. Engine: Splitfire Coilpacks with custom coilpack cover. Apexi pod filter. Handling: Tien Coilovers. The ride height is absolutely perfect for daily driving. Lower than a regular Stag, but can clear curbs by a few mm if you park too far. Electronics: Viper 5900 Alarm system. (keys start beeping if the car alarm goes off, and you are within a 1 mile radius of the car). This alarm also has a turbo timer, and remote start feature; unfortunately the auto-electrician I took it to, wasn't sure how to activate these, so they aren't enabled at the moment. Sound System: Pioneer DEH-P9850BT (Their flagship model) deck, equipped with hands free bluetooth for your phone (it's all set up). Pioneer CD-IB100-II Ipod adapter. (Not just a cable, but an ipod amplifier + cable; also works with the iPhone 3G). Two Soundstream LW4.480 (480RMS, 4 Channel) Lil' wonder amps. (One to speakers, one to sub). A kicker 400W RMS slimfit sub, in a sealed kicker box. Front and rear soundstream splits. (Fronts 120 RMS, rears from memory I think 100RMS?) Even the tweeters in the pillars were replaced with the Soundstream tweeters, still looks stock as a rock Full top of the line kicker wiring throughout the car. This sound system is quite stealth, and for the money I payed (a little more than $2000 all up RRP closer to $3500) it sounds incredible. I think that about covers it, also I'd just like to include that based upon the condition of the car, you can see that it is extremely well maintained. I clean the interior with Meguiar's products (well armourall for the leather), and take a high self esteem knowing the car is as clean as it is. Also the car is serviced once every 5000 odd km's with Motul Chronosphere 5w40 oil. The car runs absolutely beautifully, it has never missed a beat. If you test drive this car, you will definitely be surprised with both how well it handles, and also how smooth and effortless it is. I do believe the first buyer to inspect the car will buy it. I don't smoke, nor have any nasty habits, and as a resultant the car doesn't either =) Now the nitty Gritty; price ~19k. I'm quite firm on the price due to the fact that the car is so clean, and I'm not in a rush to sell it. Located in Greenwood, Perth. You can contact me (Dervish) either via email :: ([email protected]) or via mobile :: (0423633773). If you've ever considered buying a Stagea, this is definitely one worth considering. Thanks guys - Dervish

Greddy Emanage Ultimate, Gizzmo Ibc Install And Tune
D3RV replied to loymclure's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Hope it goes great Clint, there's so many conflicting views in regards to auto ECU's on this forum I'm lost everytime I do a search. My eyes will be glued for the updates =) -
Just got the Just Jap 3" bellmouth front+dump installed yesterday on an already 3' HKS Super Drager catback. It spools up slightly louder, and it did exactly what I thought it would do - at about 2.5k its just that little bit smoother/quicker, and it just seems the car can breathe easier. For 200 bucks, you can't really beat it!

Thanks Andy! =)

El Glow Guages + Console 3 Gauge Set
D3RV replied to MyStag260's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Hey Paul, Is it possible to maybe design gauges for R32's/R33's. It seems that solely with Stagea owners we won't really get there (we've given it plenty of time). So is it possible to maybe change a logo from lets stay the stagea unicorn to a nismo logo or something along those lines for the 32's/33's. Or are the dimensions different altogether? Since we have a set for the S1's/S2's and a set for the 260's maybe a set for 32's/33's wouldn't be so out of the question? I'm sure there'd be plenty of interest. Thanks man -
Hey Dave, are your PMs full? =)
-
Hey man, atleast yours are blue and white... matches the car!
-
Nice one Andy, glad your wrapped with it! And best of luck tomorrow with the stag attaining its 'citizenship' =)
-
Close to 18k, that's just too cheap Andy! (compared to what I payed for mine anyway). Regardless, great buy buddy, and I can't wait for you to get it so I can steal your kit

Wow, what a great site. I officially want to spray my stag charcoal grey =P

I must say, some of the story is twisted, and takes a while for you to get your head around. However after enough pondering I'm understanding it. I better finish it this weekend; since the game is so much like a movie, I can't wait to see how it all pans out =D

It's... beautiful... *tears in eyes*

I know its a VERY fat chance, but now mostly looking for a S2 260RS/Autech front bar. If anyone is selling theirs (yeah I know I'm dreaming) let me know ^^
-
Still playing it, absolutely love it. I've got a 360, PS3 and Wii so not being biased. Never played any previous MGS games. But this is seriously one of the best games ever made. On par with the original Halo and LoZ OoT.

In terms of future modding; are there mods which simply cannot be done due to the fact that the car has been converted to gas? Also do you mind filling us in on how much the whole process costs, and how the government rebate works. Thanks man.

Thanks Mike =) I've already got the dolphin grille, but I'm just wondering for the front bar + rear bar + side skirts if there's any size difference. Reason being when you take the kit off, from my eyes it looks essentially the same as the S1.

Hey guys; I've been looking around for an autech kit or dolphin kit for my silver S2. Reason being - obviously look hot - and I think its better not to chop up my DAYZ kit for my FMIC. I'd either buy the kit outright, or trade for my DAYZ kit (silver) + cash. I'd definitely prefare silver over anything else. Ps: Is the only difference between S1 and S2 autech kits the grille?

Full Dolphin Kit For Sale
D3RV replied to pintaline's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Why can't anyone in Perth have a silver dolphin/260 kit for sale.. Urgh! Sorry pintaline I've got a full silver Dayz S2 kit - but the cost to repair + ship it + paint it probably wouldn't be worth it in the end. =\ =\ =\ -
Woe is me, I paid almost twice that amount 18 months ago for mine. However comparing to what else is on the market I don't regret it! =D

Hey there Ian, I've tried to take closer pics, but any closer and the camera goes out of focus =\ Anyhow the double sided tape that's supplied with the eyelids is 1mm thick on the dot. In my opinion it lucks really snug; and I couldn't be happier with it =)
-
Hey guys, just got my eyelids and new grille from JinMan yesterday. Looks pretty top notch IMO - paint matches perfectly and fitted like a glove. And I'd just thought I'd add these lil' guys I saw in my backyard too =P.
