  1. mate thats your drive shaft. not an uncommon fault on any vehicle. nothing major just need the boot replaced. any mechanic worth their salt should be able to do it in just over an hour. Last one i had i pulled it out myself and was charged about $100 to have the new boot supplied and fitted to the shaft. basically the rubber perishes over time and breaks down.
  2. Plus you get to go brap brap brap, which is the real reason for Rota
  3. witha few mods you can increase their fuel efficiency but it will never be great. the best you can probably expect is around 12L/100km
  4. Being Japanese you must run 98 or higher unless you go get it tuned for something different. E85 will chew a lot more fuel but ill get more powerz if you have it tuned. It will also require a bigger fuel pump and bigger injectors. These cars are a big heavy car with a small 6 cyl turbo. they will never be good on fuel.
  5. Or use to much NOS so your floor falls out. then Fred flinstone it
  6. Jet engine!! because batman
  7. Looks good. Agreed ideally you would have them sit more vertical. I am very interested in the final product once you get it right. And as Dale said i m ok with doing the trim work and painting.
  8. How do you plan on actually mounting it? do you have tabs going backward to hold it in place?
  9. I could be interested in that. thats a pretty reasonable price. Look forward to seeing it fitted in the car.
  10. Black c34 with a Thule box on the roof. Hunter street Newcastle.
  11. I am so tempted to buy one of these. Depending what you want for one.
  12. looks awesome mate. i cant wait to see it fitted.
  13. That's exactly how I had wanted to do it. How much would you sell these bad boys for?
  14. Yep, this thread has inspired me to up the security on the stag. I think i will be contacting carbon very shortly. I'm thinking about getting a two way alarm so i can go kick the persons ass when they touch my car. the just aren't enough laser beams Also the bonus of a more reliable door lock button is a big bonus. My key button sucks!!
  15. I would say people ar every keen. The date you suggested seems to conflict with a SAU meeting though. It might be worth starting a new thread with a set date and cruise plan, then people can just say yes or no.
  16. Just incase someone is reading this to see who has what alarms. My car has fricken laser beams that will kill you dead if you break into my car
  17. What size wheels do you plan on running? where you might be limited and where it may cost lots is if you need to modify your inner guards.
  18. mate thats such good news that its back to you and undamaged. So whats your plan for alarm system? I have been thinking about it for a while. Have you got costings? maybe i should be doing this also
  19. I have installe dags in a few cars back in the days when they were super popular. there won't be much custom work required to fit bags unless you are wanting it to lay rail over big wheels, which yeah is ALOT of work haha. really all it will need is a set of Strut style bags for the front and they you may be lucky enough to get a bold in bag for the rear otherwise it will be just couple of plates welded in the rear where the current springs sit. You shouldn't need any cutting etc.
  20. I haven't heard of anyone bagging a stagea. There won't be any off the shelf kits but it wouldn't be hard to put a kit togeather. Just hit up a company that supplies and fits and get them to measure everything up. Almost all the m35 guys just go coil overs cause there is off the shelf options and price really is pretty damn good. $1250ish for brand new bc coil overs.
  21. Shit man that sux. Hope they find it.
  22. Your car sure stands out. I also saw a red c34 pulling out of kellyville ridge a the ettamogah on Friday around lunch time
  23. Probably the same two I saw yesterday. Yellow c34 in kellyville ridge Yellow c34 turning from show ground rd onto Windsor rd around 4pm yesterday.
  24. agree whole heartedly. plus they way i look at it the only better wagon in the world is an Audi RS6 which is damn expensive so spending a few grand to make it compare with an RS6 is worth it as i still saved nearly $200K
  25. I found mine drove heaps better with much better high-end pull since changing to the turbosmart kompact. The stock one is too soft once your up the boost at all.
