  1. Took it apart to get to the bearing found out i was wrong the bearing was pressed on to the diff side and the part i removed only had the bearing side, checked the bearing all looked fine took the shaft end to a shop and they recon it was movement from back and forth that made the marks and not rumbling about, so i just changed the seal and put it all back again.
  2. Hi Everyone, I’m currently searching for a part for my R33 GTR—specifically the Nissan 38341-03V00 Retainer, Side Bearing. Usually, I rely on Amayama.com to source original parts, but this time they informed me that the part is no longer in production. So, I’m reaching out to see if any of you know alternative sources. Additionally, I’ve already checked JP-carparts.com, but unfortunately, they don’t have it either. The reason behind my search is that the driveshaft joint (as shown in the attached image) has deep scratches. I unknowingly ran the car for too long without realizing it was broken and had no grease left. Consequently, the three pin bearings inside were completely damaged. Now, I suspect that the bearing where the shaft goes in might also be worn. Although I can’t feel it with my finger, the markings on the end prompted me to start looking for a new bearing. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Best regards
  3. Hello Piggaz I was wondering if there is a possibility for you to re-upload the images on page 128 with how you made your waste-gates connect into the exhaust? Another question is did you keep the AC or remove it i ran into the problem of the AC pipe not fitting (well its a bit to close for comfort) in its normal location with the waste-gates and the 6boost manifold.
  4. After a long time from the car i decided to start putting it back together and complete the singel turbo conversion on my r33 gtr, with a 6boost and a EFR 8374. Well i got stuck on the DIY downpipe when i couldn't remember if the engine should be in "level" when it sits on the engine mounts and with the gearbox installed. I guess it should be but I'm not sure so that is my question. With the engine in the car without the gearbox, can i use a "bubble level" on the intake to see that its in level or is there a better place to use rather than the intake? Or should it be tipping "front / back"? As it sits now i have the engine on the engine mounts and woodblocks under the rear of the sump to keep it in level. The concern is when i put the gearbox back on and throw it back in again and the engine was supposed to be leveled but wasn't that it ends with the downpipe no longer fitting.... trying to avoid that. Best Regards Pierre
  5. Are there any noticable gains to buy the Compressor Cover SX-E Style for 8374 i have a hard time finding anything on google. I mean i could just buy the normal one and then add the block plate for the IWG.
  6. Sorry for borrowing your thread. I just bought id2000 for my r33 gtr and i am wondering what to do whit the resistor box is there any easy way to hook my new injectors in or do i need to solder the wiring? I have a autronic sm4 pnp ecu if that makes any difference.
  7. Have you had a run on the dyno yet to see what power you got out of the new turbos?
