  1. Heard that a guy who lived in North West WA used to do this. Would work best if you had no tint, so that any potential thieves could see it curled up on your drivers seat. Hehehehehe
  2. Buy a pet snake and leave it in the car
  3. Yeah, this means that the engine has to be taken out to do any decent mods, such as changing turbos. Also apparently overheating is a big issue with the zeds, as this gets back to the cramped engine bay. Handling shouldn't be too bad because the car is very low and the V6 is quite flat, therefore it has a much lower centre of gravity than a skyline. But in the end the skyline does have one big advantage ITS A SKYLINE :headspin:
  4. If its your shout, then you're definately welcome
  5. Where does everyone get their r32 gtst globes for their headlights in perth? I've got an 89 gtst and can't find replacement globes anywhere. I've checked repco and supercheap, but neither have them. Any ideas? Cheers
  6. Are we talking r34 sedan or coupe? If comparing the sedan then i reckon the chaser is better looking, but the r34 can look pretty good with a bodykit but that means extra $$$ As far as mechanicals go, the 1JZ GTE is a strong engine good for about 600hp i think (correct me if i'm wrong) which would give it an edge over the RB25DET, but in the end it depends on what you plan on doing.
  7. Is that Bentley Hope Autos in Bentley? If so, they've moved. I'm south of the river so I tried them first, however Autoworx can do it for me, just got to make the hike up to Wangara. Cheers for the info mate.
  8. I've got an 89 R32 and I need an unleaded fuel restrictor to get it over the pits. Anyone either have one (off a wrecked r32) or know where i can get one in Perth? Cheers
  9. For those of you in WA, does anyone know the exact requirements for getting a car past the pits? I know about the child restraints and flat drivers mirror, but is there anything else? The car in question is an 89 r32 gtst imported under the 15 year rule.
  10. I recently imported an 89 r32 gtst type M, and the arrival notice states that it weighs 1320kgs. If yours is the same as this then given the factory output of 160kw, wouldn't that make the power to weight ratio 121.21kw per tonne? This is the gross weight though, not dry weight which they may go by. Anyway hope this may help.
  11. Got an r32 gtst about two months ago (imported under 15yr rule) and have been doing all the little jobs to get it on the road on weekends, spare time etc. Almost done, but had a leak from my master cylinder. Anyway, I replaced the seals in it so it doesn't leak anymore, but when i went to bleed the brakes, i can only get my pedal down about half way and then it stops. This doesn't occur when I'm bleeding the front brakes, only if I'm bleeding the back brakes, or if all the bleed valves are tightened. If anyone has any ideas as to what the problem is, the help would be very much appreciated, because i'm stumped. Cheers
  12. OK, Iv'e got one of perth's 10 or so onevia's for sale: BUT, it's not quite finished yet, still a couple of small things to do like tuning etc, but it's pretty much ready to go, and will produce ~300rwhp when tuned. This is an impulse sell i need the money, but if i don't get any interest i'll probably just keep it, after all, it's a nice car! This car has been modified in aus, mostly by cypher, was stock when arrived and is an adr car, not 15yr. The r32 the engine came out of was also a low km stock front cut. 30K + car has been spent, and it'll only be here for a couple of weeks if no one will buy. Thanks guys, No chit chat on this thread please, just genuine q/a, cheers. $13,000 FIRM, without Turbo, wheels, TV. THIS HAS TO BE DEAL OF THE MILLENIUM, will still make a good 210rwhp with stock roller. Please e-mail me at [email protected], as msg's not often checked on forum.
  13. Cheers for that, worked well, got the seat out.
  14. Anyone know how to get the rear seat out of an R32?
  15. How did you know your car has a mines ecu? I just brought an R32 GTSt over two weeks ago, and discovered that the ecu has pink scribbled writing on it, and there is a mines sticker on the bonnet. Guessing that maybe it has a mines ecu. Do you guys know if these ecus run alright on ultimate or would it be tuned for japans 104 ron fuel?
