  1. @Gts-t what did you have blocking the holes left over from the 4WD parts? Looks like frost plugs but I could be wrong. I'll be doing the same myself soon and yours looks really neat.
  2. Josh, man, can you give me some kind of a response please?
  3. Did you see my PM? I'm looking to buy this as soon as.
  4. I'll PM you.
  5. What were the results in the end?
  6. Hey man! Is this still available?
  7. That's a very valid point Sick! I'll see if I can find a complete setup to get some measurements from. Cheers for the replies anyway.
  8. Given the info in this thread.... https://www.driftworks.com/forum/threads/the-definitive-nissan-crossmember-thread.243198/ Specifically: The key differences are that when compared to the standard SR crossmember, -R33 crossmember mounts are 125mm further forward and 9mm lower as well as being roughly 15° -R32 crossmember mounts are 125mm further forward and 5.5mm higher and are approximately the same 53° Would the lower engine mount height not help with the engine position and weight distribution?
  9. R33 front subframe in R32 Has anyone bothered to swap the front subframes when carrying out an RB25 swap in an R32? Are there any known benefits in regards to engine position?
  10. What are you running in terms of cams and springs? What's your engine normally put through, street/drift/drag.....
  11. This is exactly what I wanted to know. Been hearing to many "oh yeah, a mate's brother's girlfriend's cousin once had the shim fly out and kill a baby" stories. I'm planning on getting the Tomei Poncam Type B cams. "PONCam Set Type-B, Exhaust Duration: 260, Exhaust Lift: 9.15mm, Intake Duration: 260, Intake Lift: 9.15mm" I can't see those being too aggressive since Tomei list them as "drop in".
  12. I haven't been able to find any definite answers on this one........are people aware of any issues with the Neo valvetrain design of shim-on-bucket for drag/drift purposes? In terms of 2 step/launch control or hitting the limiter. I know the JZ folks change to a solid lifter setup but I haven't been able to find any info on something similar for the Neo engine.
  13. Can someone with an RB25, minus the head, measure the piston crown to deck clearance for me please? Or if someone knows this from memory? Also the piston measurement above top ring land please?
  14. The one circled in red above. I've contacted HKS and they are unable to match it to any part numbers they have listed. Does anyone have any other ideas about where one can be picked up or have one buried in a drawer somewhere?
