Ok thanks heaps guys. any advice or things I should know about before I purchase a gtr? any particular model? I am after the R33, but do they differ in terms of specs depending on the year model? and any difference between a standard gtr and v spec? thanks guys

I am seriously feeling depressed after selling my r33 gtst kind of regret it but oh well. Sold it due to me wanting an R33 GTR.....is the upgrade to a GTR that much of a difference? be honest lol.

High flow garret turbo Vipec ecu Front mount intercooler full exhaust system air pod filter blitz blow of valve boost controller amazing system with sub and LCD screen turbo timer car owes me $17.000 will eventualy need bigger injectors and heavy duty clutch to cope with the perfomance, 300kw+ no problems currently outputing 250kw at the wheels. very quick and smooth has scratch on the bonnest and other minor scratches. $13.500

I know you guys wanted an update on my tune. so I figured I would make a new thread about it previous tune was 218kw at the wheels. he did a great job with stock injectors!

I dont mean to be a bad influence. but is this stupid rule that heavily enforced? I mean is a cop going to know how much kw an engine is outputing?. I live in nsw (soon to be moving to QLD) and there are so many p platers driving sti's and gtrs its not even funny. I saw one cop behind a p plater driving an evo and he didn't give a f**k. I don't get it.

as promised guys, the new tune. massive difference compared to the last tune. still makes the power later in the rev range but its an improvement

That is awesome bro. I can only imagine how fast that thing would be to be honest man, I would be content with 300kw at the wheels. no more than that. as it is, its quick, but not quick enough to be content. Tomorrow is the day I get a power tune done. will update you guys

high flow garret turbo. hitting boost pretty late man... edit: ok my tuner just called, he said he wasn't looking to get power out of the turbo until I had run in my new engine. he said it was a conservetive tune, Ill be taking it back to him on monday for him to improve the timing on the ecu or something. apparently thats why its not accelerating hard...

Ill get on that soon man. but whats your opinion? shouldn't 220kw at the wheels be brutal? because my car aint brutal unless I boost from 1st gear. anything higher than that takes forever for the damn turbo to kick in. hits hard when it does though, but damn it takes forever. not happy with the performance of the r33 gtst

I am very curious on peoples opinions on what they consider is fast. my car was put on the dyno last week and was making 222kw at the wheels at 10psi boost. I have standard injectors so I cant go higher than that. problem is though, the car feels laggy as hell, and seems slower compared to the standard turbo I had previously on it. I am just not impressed. why? anyone happy with 220kw at wheels?

Sorry for the late reply guys just blew the turbo on my r33 gtst. will never trust that mechanic again!. car is up and running again with a t4 garret turbo and apexi power fc ecu. thanks for the advice guys! will hit you up mhy33

Who said the r33 is ugly? I think its the best and most aggressive looking out of all the skylines. I love how mine looks. all mine needs is some mags and its one stylish looking skyline
