  1. Just thought i'd start a spotted cefiro thread. Was driving along canley vale today (sat 11/09/04) and i see a black stock cefiro tailing me. If its one of you nsw guys on the forum. I gave him a wave and so did he.. Sothing about seeing other ceffys around. I can prtty much count the number of ceffys in sydney atm. This is the first NSW one ive seen in 3 months apart from nissaners one.
  2. - In my opinion after having done cuircuit work and drift at an amatuer level. I would haver to say drift as it puts less strain on your car due to the fact u are only going through 2-3 corners at the most at high speeds (or on the rev limiter) whilst in cuircuit your hammering your car at all coners and on the straights. - Both use brakes work but the brake work on a drift is much less (more towards the rear hand brakes). Whilst in the cuircuit u stopping from from 200k plus down to say 70 km/h and this is on every turn and straight. This puts tremendous work on your rotors and brake pads. The last time i went to curcuit had to get new rotors after using heavy duty brakes pads whihc will always fcuk em over esp as you brake hard into corners. - Both will need to to use oil cooler and FMIC more so in cuircuit otherwise we all know things start blowing up when the temp goes up. - Tyre wear ive found is also a big factot in both. In drift u can get cheap ass 2nd hand stockies (in my case s13) for like 100 bux a set and rip the fcuk out of em. In cuircuit u cant run on the stockies and will be using the wider much more specialzsed wheels rims etc. As you all know the bigger the tyre and the better the grip the more $$$ there is. I paid 250 bux each for mine and after one track day didnt have much left i would say around 60% left. Although i enjoy bioth and do both. In my OP i would say drifting is cheaper than cuircuit racing (not by much mind u). /Ceffo finishes off his essay
  3. Ill consider buying it also if the price is right..
  4. Too many guys i have found out have no idea how much money u waste drifting. Tyres, brakes, clutch.. so forth.. Well its cheaper than track racing as i found out. LOL.
  5. dammit. Will still be peaking from the transmission RAVE. Do u guys or is this organized everytime initial drift have a drift day for SAu nsw?.
  6. Ive been pulled over racing my mate (r33) and we were both still under the speed limit after accerelating very hard from the lights to 70km/h. He had to pop the bonnet and they didnt even bother looking at my car. LOL Although they kept scratching theior heads as well thinking WTF is this car and why does it have such a large zorst.
  7. well you guys are always whoring on my threads. :jk: KURSED: are u using this car as a drifter or as a 1/4 mile car? Because if your expecting good times on this Tank of a car. be very shocked. .. at 1450kgs its not going to go anywhere very quick. But i have been known to go around corners sidewayz very quick oH say at 80km/h. LOL The mods depends on what u want to do with the car. For drift: get a bleed valave and an oil cooler and fmic. Then bobs your uncle dirft machine setup. Oh and also u need coilovers and diff. 1/4. I guess same setup as any of the other threads will have one for a rb20. See most guys from what i have known buy the ceffy more for a drift car than anything else. I know i did. Otherwise i would have got a rotor an done a 12 sec pass standard.
  8. hye man.. Ok my thoughts. if u using the ceffy for drifting. Since in drifting u only go around the same corners for like 3-4 times and no more as most of the time u will be sitting on the rev limiter. I would say get a FMIC and a oil cooler. Any more power would also benefit from the FMIC would be good not dtrimental to your sport. Most guys at the last d 1 drift day whom owned ceffy's had rb20's and pretty much only oil cooler and standard fmic. Everything elses was standard. The standard power on the rb20 should be enough for u to obtain the correct speed to enter drift and should enable u to commit long enough on the drift. I havent had any probs on my standard rb20 (oops ive got a t3 turbo). And have been able to do power overs with ease. Just spend the money on the clutch and tyres u will be going through. I run my old s13 stockies on these so much easier to lose traction and dorifto. ATM only got like 170rwkw on 13psi.. and ive found that enough to do drift.
  9. Thnaks for whoring on my thread guys as u do. Man wheres the widebody kit for the ceffy?. I wanna see.. i wanna see..
  10. hi guys im about to buy a FMIC (gtr size) from a mate in WA. Just wondering how much and whom should i go through to get it sent pretty cheap. I dont need it urgently just as long as its cheap and yet reilable. i.e No "lost" parcels.. damages stuff and no looong delays.
  11. Hey man good to see u "breaking into your new car".. You should be able to do 13's easy from what i have witnessed.. My mate did it i his r32gtr stock as rock and he was a Fcuken awlful driver. Yes he was onhis P's. :flamed: just in case there are P platers around. Hmmm.. Wonder how your 60 foot time will be like?. Still see u cruisiung with the honda boyz. Good on ya man. BTW what time u be running? im gonna go and spectate. Havent been for a while.

    Hail!

Those pics remind me of when i just went to perisher blue. Ice overed roofs and stuff. Was in the middle of driving to parra when it hit. Damn it. Had to quickly get into the nearest carpark. They were the size of marbles.
  14. hey guys ive got some vids of the drift nats.. Just wanted to know if i could upload and link it to SAU?.
  15. cant wait till someonestolecc gets his rb25 ceffy. BIACTHHH. So we can go cruising. Drift NATS was pretty good man. Very good to see a lot of ceffy's represented there. I liked this pic though.
  16. Gee man cant believe u sold that roll cage to the WA dudes for that cheap. If i had known u were gonna sell it for that price I would have bought it. Yeah the car u saw in the carpark was mine. It was the blue one. I was expecting to see yours and a few other when i arrived but there wasnt many around. Should have seen the stares from the young ones as i drive past. They never seen one before. If someones organises a cruise ill be up for it. Oopps man this is in the foir sale thread.
  17. Guys after many hours. I found these on ebay. U reckon these are cheap? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=33741 All the places in aus i rang said the 1 inch of silicone hose was like 15-20 bux. I cant vaouch for the quality of the ebay stuff but it seems i can get like 40 incehs for like 100 bux and 18 bux delivery whihc is like much cheaper than here. Also found reducers for like 11 bux each. Her in AUS I was quoted like 40 bux a reducer. WTF :bs!: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=33742 Unless u guys can get me better im gonna go with these. When i start this project.
