hey man.. meggala has is making kits. U can buy fornt bars and rear bars off him for like 450 each.. i think.. No side skirts as of yet. Im picking up his rear bar in a few weeks. when i repsray my whole car.

hey i noticed whats with the rear badging in some cefiros and others dont have the cefiro badge?.. PIMPINS one has it but on mine it doesnt. MInds u its not a big deal to me. Just a bit curious. ceffo.

yeah man saw that other day.. Its only got so far FMIC as the major mods.. The turbo is pretty much stock. No Injectors/AFM otr nnuttinig done to it thou. Its a fair bit for still at that price. For 650,000 i would be expecting a hamburger or an rb25/rb26 dropped in. Still an SR in those things would make it a good ration of 50/50. very good for drift.

yeah that ones been doing the rounds awhile now. Would have thought it was sold. still INARK has a much better clean version of the rb26. This one looks like its been mistreated afair bit hence the FOB price.

yeah very true man. Still hard to get over it. I mean the parts alone are worth the cars weight in gold. At least u had a sense of reason funkymonkey. BTW sorry guys it 10,500 landed.

I had mine weighed for compliance/Rego and it was 1360kg on the weighbridge. I had thought it was heavier by looking at em.

Have u guys been stopped yet by peeps asking u wtf is that vehicle and damn why did a 4 door "family" car just beat them at the lights when they drive a commodore/ford. Come to think of it I have been stopped 5 times last week alone for peeps at gas stations / red lights and young guys asking to buy the car. Maybe being a minority has its advantages.

Hey guys Ive noticed a few posts about common problems with A31 cefiros. Maybe a list of problems that ouccur after importing could be posted here and remedies. - One thing i have noticed is the power steering from majority of these models are pretty muched fcuked. Mines is leaking from the piping. $250 to fix for a new system not inc. labor. Annoying things P: The darn doors keep locking when u start up your car and start driving. Dont know about u guys but i find this a problem esp when u have to constanly press the open button when u pick up other peeps A: I have recently remedied this by reseting the ecu. It seems the doors do not lock up anymore. The ECU is the same as an R32 skyline. P: And as in most nissans u got that blasted ding ding niose when the car hits 100km/h on a freeway and it gets very annoying A: Any suggestions would be nice. Ceffo

Hi Fellow Cefiro owners. Hey any sydney/NSW owners in here?.. Maybe we should hook up and compare notes stuffa sthere arnt many of us here in NSW. I imported my car from Meggala as well. Top bloke he is the guru on these cars and has helped me with getting parts minor problems and stuff even after I got the car till now back in march. Specs/Mods are as follows: - 1988 A31 cefiro - Rb20det - T3 Turbo off an VG30 - Mech Diff - Boost Guage - GFB Bleed Valve - Larger Cams - HKS POD - Turbo Back 2.5 inch zorst - Tien Height/Camber Coilovers - A few other minor mods I dont mind the brown interior too much. BTW i have an stock cefiro air box I HAD to buy for 250 bux just to pass the blueslip here in sydney so if any of u guys need to borrow it in the near future then let me know.

yeah went to nath on the advice of this posts and man what a guy.. he solved my stalling problem by just tuning the avcr which was playing up my A/F ratios. And only charged me like 50 bux to fix it and this was on a sturday when he was quite busy what a guy. Now the car runs sweeeeett. Im going back there again for sure. cef.

Hey guys, Was at CRD on the weeknd to get my car dynoed prior to fitting an bleed valve. and found out im making 150rwkw@10psi on what im assuming is an stock T28 turbo?.. What i dont get is most peeps I know who own rb20det's are getting like 150rwkw@14psi - current setup is as follows - 2.5 inch turbo back exhaust - fuel pump - Aftermarket AFm Im assuming there are valid reasons for this? - such as CRD fudged the numbers (i think highly unliky as it was in shootuout mode) - bigger turbo t3 maybe - good engine (I was told by the crd boyz that there were 3 versions of the rb20 blocks) if i have a bigger turbo whats a good way to tell if u got a bigger turbo from taking the covers off without pulling the turbo out as we all know the t28 and t3 all look alike on the outside.. Im asking b4 i wind up the boost and start running up the boost and running down wsid to find out I have blown something.. cef.

yeah i did man use a customs agent it was the shipping company that left it there for 7 days because some idiot in head office forgot to stamp the cars relaese papers. Hence incuriing the 700 bux. grrrrr.. Thye have recenlty admitted they were wrong but i said fcuk it not gonna contest it. wasting my time and so forth. cef.

Yeah i know how to change it.. thanx anywayz.. Just didnt want to go into detail. Heck i put the clutch in and serviced the gearbox without a hoist last time so i must at least know how to change gbox oil. Im getting my injectors cleaned at place in fairfield (Mekong auto spares) 15 bux a pop and ultrasonically cleaned. Thev have done a few of peeps i know and no probs with theirs. cef. BTW as evan said my car is only making 160rwkw.. not 300 rwkw.. So i dont think top of the range stuff is required here.

I also had the same issues importing my cefiro. Man kept getting this amd that from the shiiping company. Ended up that the girl in japan had "typed" the wrong date in she put in april not may.. So one month later they say there are no ships going to sydney. WTF.. 3months later it finally arrived here. Then the real trouble with the epa and so forth here in sydney started. BTW this was in no way the brokers fault it was prtty much the shiipping/epa. ONE word of advice Do not send the ship to sydney It cost me in the end 750 bux more in storage and wharf fees/admin duty and so forth as compared to someone in melbourne whom i know also imported the same car for the same FOB. I would have been better for me to fly down there in jet star 80 bux. Get the car tuned another 140 bux. Apply for a permit 20 bux or so and then drive it up here with 100 bux petrol max. Total = $340 bux Man could have got better mods with the 400 bux saved. :bs!: Im also hearing of guys importing to sydney and ecountering the same fate. cef.

Hi guys, Im gonna service my car this sat and would like suggestions on parts to get for the following and any helpful comments. Im doing this myself as im a tight ass and hoping it will only cost me 1/2 of what the workshop would charge :wassup:. Plus i luv playing around with the car. Ive posted ut here in NSW because U guys might suggest where i can also get the suggested parts. My engine has done 166,000 km's. So im gonna wake up at early and start pulling out the parts to be replaced/cleaned. Here is a breakdown.. (50 bux) Engine Oil - Suggestions please?? (10 bux) Oil Filter - Ill be using a generic nissan brand (10 bux) Petrol Filter - Ill be using a generic nissan brand (7.50 bux) Brake fluid - Honda 15 bux for 750 ml. (7.50 bux) Clutch fluid - Using the Brake fluid above ( < 100 bux) Gearbox oil - Redline (Damn these things are expensive 110 bux) Can u guys suggest any others of similar quality but less expensive? Pulling the cover off the gearstick and gonna start pouring it in. (15 bux)Radiator Flushed - 15 bux for some radiator fluid my mechanical mate has bought in a massive drum. (24 bux copper or 106 bux irridium) Spark Plugs - Ive heard these things perform the same as the irridium ones unless u pushing 200+rwkw and im also gonna gap em 8mm. Unless u guys have a different opinion of using these this please let me know. (90 bux) Injectors - Pulling the cover off and taking these babies out. Getting em ultrasonically cleaned for 15 bux each. All Up cost at a workshop i have been qouted (540 -600) bux Im estimating my cost will be - 320 bux (using copper sparkies) BTW Can u suggest anything i need to change? Since im there?. Cheers cef.

Hi Guys, My car got broke into on saturday past. Some dickwit smashed the passenger side window and managed to take some coins i had in the coin compartment. Funny thing was im pretty certain it was a young thug hanging outside a office building looking like a drug abuser staring at my vehicle when i parked my car. I can still slightly remember his face thou. Im gonna go to the same place next saturday and look for the guy. :ak47: Anyway rant over now. Question is: Can somebody tell me how to go about changing/replacing the glass. Im assuming I have to find a second hand one now imported from overseas. Cheers cef.

hey guys, 1. I did a search on window tinting under SAU NSW. And i also missed the last group tinting. But came up with no numbers to contact. Just wondering if u guys could supply me with some numbers of reasonably priced window tinters in sydney and also do a good job. 2. Also wanting to upgrade the alarm.
