You rekon just put spacers on the subframe? it wont.be able to bring it down that much would it? and just heard milling the holes longer a sudden jolt could just make the bolts slide

hey guys im wanting to drop my 30det in my r32 gts, the standard 25det intake fouls on the bonnet bad, ive seen afew r32s an the intakes they had cleared nicely, what other ways are there apart from getting a front facing intake and redrilling the mounts cause im not keen to mill them out, i was thinking making some thinner engine mounts but that shouldnt harm the drive line in any way would it??

rb25 an rb20 ecus have the same power in. also i checked i checked all the pins an they sweet as, i chucked the ecu im trying to power up into my mates cef and it lights up an runs fine. then when i go to chuck it into mine, nothing, not a sign of life. is there some sort of auxiliry power or signal power which tells it when to turn on or something? just spitballing now

hey guys!! wondering if anyone has had the same issue or similar and can pass on some advice, ok problem. ive gone to plug my ecu in which is a chipped ecu for my rb30det, the led on the side doesnt light up and gets no power. i have checked the power going into the ecu an the ground they are sweet as, i have put the ecu into another car and it works legit. i also got my hands on a 25det ecu and that lights up then tried a 20det and 20de ecu both dont work WTH cant figure it out can someone shed some light please?! cheers in advance

Hey guys, turbo they are non turbo pistons, and sweet didnt think about rings not setting in? And tried to get headgasket and 1.3 was thinnest sta parts had. Next time will get 1.2

Would it be cause of the headgasket thickness? Or battery going flat slowly?

Hey guys, this is the first rb30det ive tridd to build. Its a fairly basic one. Stock bottom end with acl bearings, standard rb30 rods and pistons which are in good order. Arp head studs. 1.3mm headgasket. and rb25det head which had been cleaned up etc. Went to to compressio test. It had no extractors, intake on and no spark plugs in any of the cylinders prstty bare and im getting about 100psi all over roughly. B Just did the test with battery on starter motor etc any help much appreciated!!

Any ideas where to that diagram have tried looking bur all i seem to come across is ecu translations from asain to english and ecu pinouts

Not spare wires, i had cut them when taking the fuse box out. Didnt reaslise there were 3 the same color otherwise would have marked them. And yeah tried tracing them and they go into this plug board thing behind your drivers kick panel

Hey guys, im in the middle of relocating my fuse box from the engine bay to under my dash, i cut all the wires running into the fuse box. Started hooking them all back up and found there are 3 wires exactly the sam color green/white. Does anyone know if i can just put them together or have to try the right wire? Imagining since they are all the same color they would be the same thing wouldnt it??

Hey guys. One of my first times posting on here. I'm building my first rb30det with a 25det head. I'm at the stage of finishing it and buying a aftermarket intake. My question is. Is there a way to tell what series my head is as I bought it without intake or anything just came with cam gears and shafts etc it says 75t on the side which matches up to a r33 rb25det but says nothing bout series. Also final question is can I use either tips with my intake or does it have to be the same series as the head? Cause couldn't I just get series 2 tips and plug and get it cut and soldered onto my loom? Many thanks in advance guys!

hey guys, im sorry if this has been covered, if it has then please link me cause that would be super. im building a 30det like im sure everyone in this section of the forum, ive just gotten myself a r33 rb25det head, it came off a mint rb25, never used on a RB30Det, now what will i have to do in the way of prepping it to slap it on the block? ive got the oil feed and drain thing sussed, and im using a Cometic 4 layer rb30 head gasket, ive heard that you have to grub screw or weld some holes up? and is there anything else to do? any help would be super cause i would lover to get her back on the road!! ill try attach some pictures of the head to give you guys a idea of what im working with here
