  3. I'm moving in a month and need to clear my garage of all my r32, hr31 and aussie r31 parts. I'm not really too sure how much these parts are worth. I just need to clear the garage Off memory i'll list the parts i've got, and will add if there is anything else available I will add when I finish work and pics will be available when my old man get's back so I can borrow his digi cam to take some pics to whom request them I have front cut bits leftover from a 1993 HR32 gts4 *no engine, wiring loom, ecu* car had done 96k front r32 4 pot calipers EOI as might use on my car r32 gts-4 5spd manual gearbox (will not work in a non-4wd car) on hold at present, just unsure what is happening r32 factory side-mount intercooler r32 stock T03 turbo *on hold at present* *will list more, just can't remember* hr31 gts-x bootlid, passanger door (including door interior + electric mirror buttons etc), both front quarter panels, boot garnish, rear seats (black & grey) with interior panels and sensor cluster s3 headlights, grill, front bar and reinforcement (fillerpanel free with front bar but will need the crack repaired) hr31 passage GT centre console (has stereo buttons on it ie. ff, rnd, play, stop and a lot more) passage gt rear filler panel 1991 silvertop head -turbo and coilpacks. (will need to rip the head off prior, as I just want to check condition) 20 psi autometer boost gauge wood style autotechnica steering wheel crap, I can't remember what else I have. Name a reasonable price, I just need to get rid of it. PM me for more details I'm located on the Gold Coast, QLD. Happy to post depending on size and if you are willing to pay shipping.
  4. Xodus aka Ashley Baylis when he crashed his gts-x. I've seen them go for $450 on the 31forum. Even Neo6 with his rediculas prices (ie. gts-x grill $250) was $500 for the struts etc. I'm surprise $600 is the lowest you've seen. The highest i've seen them go for was $750 Anyway i hope it helped Floody
  5. It won't be difficult to change the rb20de to the det. The compression will be higher, which has it's advantages and disadvantages. What you need is the turbo manifold, turbo, intercooler, piping, ecu The T03 turbo from the silvertop would be a better turbo than the redtop t03. If you will be using the standard sidemount intercooler, you will need to cut out the vent in the front bar. I would suggest getting a cheap front mount ie. Hybrid 780x300x76 or one of the hybrid clones. Great FMIC For the ECU, make sure you get it tuned first. You don't know what settings the ecu has been set to. You might also need to replace the injectors too, maybe fuel pump also. With the redtop, it has better flow than the r32 silvertop rb20 but you would want get a a/m ecu where you can change air/fuel ratios and some form of electronic boost control to get the full potential of it. Another option is to drop a r32 ECCS silvertop engine in it as you can pick these engines with the g/b, loom, ecu, engine for pretty cheap these days and there isn't a problem with regards to fitting. Bolts up with engine mounts with no problems. With the brakes, the non turbo use the same 254mm rotors and calipers as the Australian model. Turbo models use 274mm rotors, a little larger twin pot calipers. However, this isn't a problem. I bought my hr31 front struts/hubs/brake assembaly for $250 I hope this helps Andrew
  6. Silhouette's are a great car with some nice options. I would go an import if I was you, I've seen plenty of good quality/reasonably stock gts-x's for $5,500-$6k. I was really tempted myself a few times Rb30et is a great engine, I wouldn't say it is indestructable but still a great and reliable engine if properly maintained. If setup right it will have very nice low end torque and reasonable mid/ high end torque. However, it would be great to get a rb25det head if you've got a few extra grand. Better to get a have twin cam for the application Being able to bolt an rb25det/rb26dett head onto the rb30 is a bonus. Rb20det "silvertop". This is the engine I am currently using, it is a strong engine. Initial torque on it is reasonably laggy but it makes up for it in the top end and can rev out to around 7,500 - 8000 rpm. With a decent turbo like the hks 2530-2535 you'll be making up for the initial lag while still having aggresive top end. You can have a decent setup with gtr cams and adjustable cam gears (adjust when boost kicks in) i've seen hks adjustable cam gears for $300 for the pair which is cheap, cams are around $200 but there is a bit of fabricating involved fitting them. If you want to get serious with the rb20det you can use the crank and rods from the rb26dett and buy some forged 82mm pistons new which is expensive for a set but you can pick up the pistons from the early 90's supercharged mr2 4agze for cheap. They are 82mm pistons and were released forged and ceramic coated from the factory. By doing these few things + a few small little things also you now how a rb24. More low end torque, increased rev capacity. By replacing these componants you can increase the power limitations of the stock internalled rb20det. In conclusion I'd prefer a silvertop, but rb30et is a great cheap option and both engines have plenty of different ways of achieving high amounts of horsepower
  7. yes it did, if I remember correctly I believe it is black
  8. your in Japan right now eh? Want to bring back a few parts for me
  9. thanks very much Dsturbed and Gilly, they really do help. I just have to work out if it's worth selling it or modify the sump. I just need to find someone who can do it for cheap
  10. Do you know anyone in Japan that will help out? for some $$ of course.
  11. sounds good. Things have come up though, it will have to be in a few months.
  12. Hey Shan. I'm not importing the car anymore, but can you import rims? I've found a set. Also i've heard the perps at yahoo auctions won't sell to you unless you can communicate with fluent japanese. Any way around this?
  13. thanks Funky, The auction finishes at 9pm qld time. I have to know before I bid as I don't want to be stuck. Should I bid anyway and take the chance? kiwi car carriers quoted me $1300aus for shipping.
  14. pm sent rezz
  15. thanks InspectorGadget for the link btw, I'm calling them now. but no answer
  16. Yeah, I know there is a lot of paperwork. But I didn't want to have to spend $1k on an importer to do all the paper work I know there will be import duties, GST (10% of purchased item is 10,000yen is about $13aus.) and government stamp duty on top of the shipping prices. Do you know a rough cost to get from Jap to Bris/aus? Is there anything more i need to know about importing?
  17. oh sorry mate, I didn't realise there was more than one Rezz. I was asking you for help mate, your the super moderator in Japan right? Btw, I found a cheaper hr31 gts-x for only 10,000 yen which finishes tomorrow night. I have the cash, and what i'm looking to do is get the person who ships it a bonus for picking up the car and delivering the cash, then shipping it or.... arrange for the seller to drop it off, one of the two. But i'm so serious about this, I really want it So if you can help it would be greatly appreciated, if you want money that's fine Regards Andrew
  18. Rezz, I need your help. I've seen a nice hr31 gts-x for sale in Japan. I wanted to know if you knew any places that will ship it to Australia for a good price. I need to find out a.s.a.p cos the auction finishes tonight regards Andrew
  19. would you seperate the gt2530 and sell it as a singular item? also the 26dett doesn't use the t3 flange? or does it?
  20. thanks heaps mate, very much appreciated
  21. yes it does, pm sent. The engine has exactly 91,964kms on the clock fella's.
  22. it has 91k on the clock. I'll post up exact kms tomorrow. It doesn't have a problem starting, waiting for my mechanic to do a compression test. Maybe a leak down test as well. I'm having 2nd thoughts about selling the cut seeing it can be down if I cut the front diff and axles and welded it back up. Will let you know and thanks for the offer
  23. thanks sl1212, but I don't like those rims. SSR professor's deep dish rims would be great in a 4stud pattern
  24. can you get any of these in 4x114.3 stud pattern. I'd be keen as
