I have an aftermarket sump on my old rb20det engine. My mechanic seems to think that it can't be swapped. I should have taken pics of what he was talking about. But if someone wants to swap or buy it off me over the next few weeks then I will do it. I just want my car back on the road a.s.a.p. It's been off the road since mid October

I bought a front cut of a r32 gts-t a month ago. Only to find out it was a r32 gt-four front cut. Now I found out today from my mechanic. That it's a different engine and it's not all gonna bolt up. Something to do with the sump or some shit. So i'll cut my loses and sell it, I'm looking for $1100 but no less than $1k It is missing the front struts, radiator, qtr panels and headlights. As that is the way it came, even though he said it was only missing the qtr panels. I am also willing to trade for an rb20det (from gts-t) with loom. I don't need the box as I have a 25 box already, or I will trade for an rb25det with loom and turbo with a cash adjustment from my behalf.

Sorry guys, but this is the only sticker on the side of my car and the GT guard badges. How much confusion can this create? hahahaha, if you ever want to sell it......... sell it to someone who thinks it an r31 and say it's a "limited edition" only 4 made. sell it for 20g's -

Don't worry mate, I see the difference. One thing I get with my r31 is people coming up to my car complimenting it, then saying to me "this has got the VL engine in it doesn't it?" so I just turn on the car and let the wastegate open. It get's on my nerves after the first 20 times  haha, I'm a bit of a ricer at heart. I've got the 24 valve ceramic turbo on the side of mine. -

Dude, you know me! I have the memory of a fish. huh, what were we talking about oh yeah does your 30 get refered to as a 31? or are you refering to everyone saying 31's are the beez neez? Matt's (hr30) is what made me want to go turbs. I've always loved them since Matt's. I love my 31 too, love it more when it's back on the road and not killing my bank account. @ everyone, anyone who appreciates and loves their car has a hole in their bank account. At least I know that i'm not the only one blowing their cash on their car, but your right. When you drive it, it's like heaven. -

Mine's pretty average. You should get MrMayhem to post some pics of his here, but I don't know if it would be the best. Fatz's hr31 is like sex on wheels!! if you've got more pics like that, post em. -

Haha Adam, i'm not like that eh. Matts R30 is what made me want to go turbs. I personally think the DR30 looks more aggressive than the hr31. I love them and right now i'm driving my missus's 92' 1ltr 3cyl auto Charade. ?? Matt, I thought yours was the dr30 rsx? -

hmmmm Tom, I love this pic Sometime this year I will be driving back to Perth and seeing lots and lots of old mates. I'll let you know when this happens so we could go on a cruise When I was over in Perth, I never saw a hr31. I never knew there was decent 31's in Perth. -
Happy New year everyone. I went for a cruise in Matt's (rsx84) dr30 with rb20det at 4:30am New Years Day I must say, even though I've been driving a Charade while mine has been in the workshop over the last few months. Wow, simply wow. I was shaking after the "quick" drive. Now mine should have more boot when mine gets back. So now i'm scared haha Now to my conclusion I love Dr30's

Thanks dude, funny enough it's a Pintara. I'll show you some pics of it in a few weeks when some new body parts are painted and fitted. It will look a lot more sexier. With regards to yours, I reckon you should keep it (mmmm 25t r31 ) and for your reference. The paint I used is Moody Blue & a Mica twopac Where about's in Perth are ya? I moved to QLD a 1 1/2 ago, I was lived in Ocean Reef, near Joondalup -

(Qld) HR30/rb20det coupe
.75 degrees sideways replied to rsx84's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
When did you decide you were selling it Matt. I thought you were going to keep it This is the car that changed my mind about buying a onevia. It slapped me senseless with the amount of kick it has. In fact it goes harder than my r31 with the rb20det due to the lightweight and is in great condition. I hope you don't sell it though Matt, you've been working on this for years and it's so close to being finished -

Just curious, does anyone know the specs of a dr30 rs-x? ie. Everything from stock spring rates, to engine specs etc etc..
