Recent service performed with all new oils/filters etc and new plugs, new battery fitted last month. Non smokers car, car has always been garaged and never been in -any- accidents, no panels ever resprayed. I have spent over $20,000 in the last year modifying this car, it is perfectly streetable only 3x as potent when you open up the throttle, street driving the car drives no different to a standard gtr. Just spent $1500 putting on standard turbos on the car and getting it all retuned. Bolt on a pair of ball bearing turbos and you will have close to 300kw at all 4 without a hassle, everything else you need is already on the car. Car just made 256kw at all 4 on 14psi (dyno sheet to prove) approx 280rwkw as is now. Keep in mind a standard gtr has around 170kw. Some of the current mods include: 100mm intercooler 3 exhaust system from turbos back Single plate brass button clutch Apexi PFC fully tuned K&N pod filters Boost controller HKS adjustable cam gears 700CC injectors + 700hp Intank fuel pump + plenty other bits and pieces. Any professional inspections welcome. As always serious buyers only thanks. Selling as im downgrading to spend some money on the house. Price negotiable within reason. Email bjrose at optusnet dot net.au or Phone 0413 382 678 between 4-8pm weekdays, normal times weekends, dont bother sms'ing me. 2x Nismo Rs580's Need Rebuild.
MidnightGTR replied to MidnightGTR's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Ive packed em all away again now. As I said one turbo is fine, on the screwed turbo the exhaust side seems fine (apart from the play) If you were going to rebuild them you would get them done properly anyway, not do half the job. -

2x Nismo Rs580's Need Rebuild.
MidnightGTR replied to MidnightGTR's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Ask precision turbos in sydney who rebuilt them. Says make an offer, gtr flanges are t28? i think Im not selling them seperatly so suit a gtr owner willing to buy cheap to rebuild. -
2 Nismo RS580 turbos. Same turbo as a 2530/N1 from what im told. 1 Turbo is fine but I would rebuild it just to be on the safe side, choice is upto you though. Screwed turbo has the obvious damage shown on the photos, and about an inch of shaft play. Never the less it drove on my car for about 3 months and never died Location: Brisbane, can post at buyers expense Item Condition: 1 good, 1 f**ked. Reason for Selling: Didnt run the best on my car anymore Price and Payment Conditions: Looking for offers at this stage, no idea what they are worth but offer me something decent and ill sell. DONT ask me how much for a rebuild, do your own local research. Extra Info: DONT ask precision to rebuild these turbos trust me. Also I bought these from a so called "respected" seller on here that sells alot of shit, if you want to know who just ask ill gladly tell you (the guy is pretty "Doughy" though ill give him that much). Contact Details: Brett on 0413 382 678, or pm me here. The set. The inlet of the good one: there is minimal shaft play but I would imagine its normal for a used turbo. Munch Munch, the f**ked one:

Anyone want a bargain GTR? heres the carsales ad. http://carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!c...rch_distance=25 Had $37k on it a week ago until the turbos started playing up so now ive decided to give it away. Car still runs and makes power just the turbos screech around 3000rpm only, engine and everything else is still perfect and im still driving it daily. Car made 315hp at all 4 wheels last dyno at just 14psi and a blocked cat convertor (now fixed). Engine had perfect compression and it still fine, nothing is wrong bar the turbos, any inspection is welcome. If no-one takes it soon I'll get them rebuilt myself and put the price back up but im looking for a quick sale this month only, ive spent over $20,000 in parts and tuning/labour. Im in Hillcrest which is southside of brisbane. 20mins from city or goldcoast.

FS: R33 GTR (modded)
MidnightGTR replied to MidnightGTR's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
not for another skyline. Maybe a s15 spec R. price is now $38k neg. Please see the car sales ad for full details. http://carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!c...r...rch_distance=25 Ive had my mechanic pull the turbos off and inspect them and he said he couldnt see anything wrong, put it all back together and now everything seems fine, but it couldnt have been the turbo problem he first thought as he said they would sieze up within a week but went for months, at times the noise wasnt even there. so the turbos are all good, any professional inspection is welcome. If any -serious- buyers want I can take them for a drive to confirm it. -

Was going to rebuild them myself but figured I would leave it up to the new owner, you could change to slightly bigger turbos again, maybe even a big single conversion, everything else you need to run the turbo setup at a high level is already on the car, and you'll have another $1000 for whatever you decide. Power details: Last dyno tune car made a lazy 234kw (315hp) at all 4 wheels (approx 280rwkw) on 1 bar boost (14psi) Would now be around 260kw at all 4 wheels (over 300rwkw) still with a conservative tune and boost level of 1.2bar (18psi) A stock GTR will make around 180kw at all 4. This car has all the parts now to push it further if the new owner desired. Any questions serious buyers please phone Brett on 0413 382 678 Mon-fri (4pm till 9pm) Weekends anytime. MidnightGTR replied to DoughBoy's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Id bet money he knew as well as I do now that these turbos were going to be useless in under 2000kms. From the way he talked about this miracle turbo shop Precision hes used them before, no doubt heard of their problems, I dont really care how much you love Chris. WillamsF1, im in Brisbane but if you need another case against this dodgy workshop ill help however I can. -

Just rang John from precision turbos, and what do ya know, within the first minute he starts rambling on about the oil pressure and its the cars fault.. I never saw that one coming. Even had my mechanic ring him and my mechanic basically said the guy is a wanker and denys anything he said to him (apparently my mechanic doesnt know what hes talking about hah) Anyway a word of warning for others, never buy any product from Precision turbos, or on that note, i would never buy off doughboy either, hes obviously sold a few of these and knows exactly whats going on. -

MidnightGTR replied to DoughBoy's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I am calm, its all good. As ive said before, its no use me ringing them as I have no paperwork that I was supposed to get, so hence have no proof that it was actually precision that rebuilt them, I know its not chris's fault directly, but hes the only one who can speak to the workshop about the turbos as he was the one who delt with them. -

Chris used Precision as he told me quote "Precison have been around alot longer then GCG and are better anyway" Thats 2 people who said this workshop is dodge, I wonder how many more dodgy rebuilds they have done? Add to that I never received my warranty or receipt for the rebuild as promised by Chris, and do you still think I dont have a right to be feeling ripped off? (from what others have said a so called "warranty" from this mob doesnt do much good anyway) How many more examples do you need chris? Or do you still thinking im dreaming about my ****ed turbos? -
About 6 months old. Screen still in perfect condition no harsh straches etc. All fittings, english manual, original box. Ill even throw some double-sided tape in the box $550 ono. Pickup in brisbane welcome Email; [email protected]

Your comments are welcome tony Im not saying its his fault, I know he didnt rebuild them or use them or have anything to do with it, but he is the only way I could have possibly got the workshop to honour a warranty as he delt with them and not myself. If I had of got a warranty/receipt like promised I could have just contacted the shop, but as ive explained a million times above it would be useless trying to ring them and say they rebuilt these with no paperwork like I should have received. If I could do it anyone with a blown turbo could try get a free rebuild off them It would take little effort on his behalf to explain the situation to the workshop but he isnt interested, that is what pisses me off. It could easily be resolved but he would rather gob off on the internet over it. -

My mechanic (A fella that works on turbo cars for a living, not a family relative) said the exact same thing happened to him, its a unique sound, he knows what it is, what more do you want? 10 references from other mechanics before you do anything about it? You want me to pretend like im your friend after you ****ed me around with these turbos on a hope you might actually speak to the workshop? You said you were going into the workshop to see him anyhow, all I asked is if you would talk to them so they would know they actually did rebuild the turbos when I ring up, and sent you 2 messages asking when you were going to speak to them and got no reply Im already getting quotes from other places as its obvious your not doing anything about it, im not here arguing with you hoping you might pull through, its obvious your not willing to do the right thing on your behalf, im just posting to let other people know hopefully might save them the trouble ive been through with you. Good work quoting pm's too, your a real hero. Its amazing how quick you reply here compared to your pm's -

MidnightGTR replied to DoughBoy's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I never said they were standand turbos. I said they didnt have the tags on them like they should have. I have no doubt that they are N1's. I only cared about the tags for if I ever went to sell the turbos, it would be alot easier to confirm to a buyer, as ive explained before.. but just twist it into whatever suits you best. My mechanic said the exact same thing happened to his last car, so he knows what that sound is, and no im not driving the car around because obviously its ****ed thanks to your turbos. Its drivable.. but for how long? Ring the workshop? so you want me to ring a workshop in another state that ive never delt with, with no warranty/receipt from the workshop, and tell them they have to fix my turbos because they apparently rebuilt them? You like to talk as much bullshit as you can to try ignore the fact you never supplied me with the warranty like you said, if you had of, I wouldnt of had to bother wasting my time contacting a piece of shit like yourself and would have had some proof for the workshop that they actually did the rebuild, and I would have no problem. I pm'd you about the warranty after I received the turbos and realised it wasnt there and surprise surprise, no response yet again. Its easy enough just for you to say "go ring the workshop" when you know as well as I do they wont do a thing given the circumstances just above. If you wernt such a low life you could have just spoken to the person you delt with so I would actually be able to get the workshop to rebuild them yet again. So just ignoring my pm's regarding if your going to speak to the workshop for me means that your willing to help me out? good one -

Not to everyone hes not. He will quickly reply to emails/pm's until he has your money then good luck getting any replies out of him afterwards. He advertised a pair of rebuilt nismo turbos he said had been rebuilt and ready to pickup from the shop, I paid him, didnt hear from him for a few days, when I finally got a reply suddenly the workshop hadnt finished the rebuild but would send them to me when they were done. Had photos with the serial tag still on the turbos, promised me a warranty + receipt from the workshop. A month later when I finally get my turbos they have no tags, no receipts, and NO warranty on them, and couldnt even get a reply out of the scumbag over it. Now about 5000kms later one of my turbos have died, hes denied to speak to the workshop over it (even though he apparently knows the guy who was supposed to rebuild them) and basically said I have to deal with it. This guy is just a lowlife piece of shit, just a warning to you all, you wont get what he advertises all the time. And before anyone gives me the "oh well I got my parts ok/chris is a good guy" bullshit I dont give a shit, you wernt the one who got ripped off a good couple thousand, so dont even try to understand from my point of view. -
Thinking about selling the liner and moving onto something new. Its a 95 model, midnight purple in colour. 98,000kms on the clock. VGC throughout Running gear: - 2x 320hp nismo RS580 turbos - Apexi powerfc ecu - HKS adjustable cam gears (in/ex) - 3" dump pipes, 2 1/2" down pipes and 3" cat back - 600x300x100mm polished cooler - 2x K&N filters - 80mm airflow meters - 700cc sard injectors - 700hp bosch intake pump - big brass button clutch - Greddy oil catch can Interior: - Nismo 320k guage cluster - Greddy turbo timer - Greddy shift knob - Greddy A-Pillar - Apexi EL boost guage 2.0bar - Panasonic MP3 headunit - Alpine 6 1/2" component speakers - 12" sub and 250w amp Havnt had it dynod lately but im guessing by now probably a bit over 300rwkw. Dont know what time that would be for a 33 around a low 12 / high 11? down the quarter If I sold it I guess would be asking around $45,000 mark. What you guys think am I close? worth more/less? I must have spent near $20,000 all up, bought it stock. Definatly not a thrashed car and still all in VGC running condition. Or I might just keep it Pics: http://members.optusnet.com.au/bjrose/gtr/IMG_1546.jpg http://members.optusnet.com.au/bjrose/gtr/IMG_1550.jpg http://members.optusnet.com.au/bjrose/gtr/IMG_1566.jpg new fmic: http://members.optusnet.com.au/bjrose/gtr/...gtrr/front2.jpg
