  1. FYI the car has been SOLD. cheers guys
  2. Ok thanks guys appreciate the feedback However that is a real shame I guess for me as I a have spent about 5 grand on the car since buying it $2000 on the coilovers - the tune cost $1000 - Radiator upgrade, new thermostat and new fan cost $880 entire steering rack was (including the power steering pump which was also reconditioned) cost was around $1000, plus the stereo which was around $1000 as well. The tune was expensive as it needed a few parts to get it all running right hoses ect and also they took the idle air controller to get the air conditioning working properly when the car idles as it was turning off and would not idle with the air conditioning on. But I guess it is what it is. The car is running awesome. Revs like a dream and sounds really good. Mechanically I think its better than its ever been since the original rebuild. I have all receipts for this as well. So would anyone take it for say $8000 - $9000?
  3. some one throw me some realistic offers and let me take some people for a spin!!!!!!! also happy to do a swap for a black manual s15!! with some cash on top!!
  4. yea it does seem pretty slow. why do you think that the market has died in the ass?
  5. some one tell me how much a realistic price is for this car so i can sell it 10 grand? some feedback would appreciated
  6. Thanks for that Sky017. All good with me. The buyer can have a look at decide for themselves. Eiether way its an awesome R33 with some serious stuff done to it. I am sure that the buyer will be super happy with it either way. Its tough and grunty and goes very hard for an R33. Open to offers with cash with interested parties. and Jet2nv from directly from the old add as you were asking about the turbo and injectors: Brand New Engine Rebuild. Consists of the following CP Forged Pistons, Eagle Rods, Tomei Metal Head Gasket, All New Nissan Gaskets, Extensive Head Work, Head stud kit, N1 Oil Pump and Collar to suit, N1 Water Pump & Nismo Thermostat, HKS Step 1 Cams, HKS Cam Wheel, Z32 AFM, HKS GTRS Turbo, 555cc Injectors, Bosch Fuel Pump, Split Fire Coils. There is alot more that has gone into it, but this should give you an idea on the kind of quality parts that have been used.
  7. Hi Resident DJ. Mate the honest answer is that I thought that it was a series two 96. The rego papers are wrong as they say 2005. I cant find anything else in the meantime to say otherwise. As you can see from the dude that had it before that's what it was advertised as. If anyone can tell me how I can figure it out for sure. I am happy to make a note here on the forums that It is a series 1. Either way mate the amount of work this one has done. I dont think anyone will be complaining for an R33. Its grunty as hell and fun to drive. I should go out and get a time slip for her. The old ad (thanks to Jet2nv) is here advertised as a 1996 http://www.skylinesa...3-96-r33-gts-t/
  8. Hi Jet2nv. The stuck her on the dyno yesterday and she pulled up an extra 10 kilowatts to 255 at the wheels and said that I needed to do (upgrade) the dump pipe to get a bit more power out her (as the current one is a little restrictive). I was a little disappointed as I do have charts from the previous owers saying 271 and 278. However the guys at Unigroup who I find very proffesional have indicated that their stats are very real and accurate. So not sure what happened in between but the car now does have 255RWkWatts. The plus side however is that it sounds better with the tune and they said that it has slightly more power in the ranges which is great. Either way they did say that with a little more work, upgraged turbo and I think they said Injectors that the car could be pumping a lot more. The car has been tuned for safe driving for prolong life of the car with three settings on the Boost control. One with 180kilowatts one with 220kilowatts and one with 255kilowatts. I have been running the boost on low. She revs out really nicely and sounds seriously awesome without too much power which means i wont be thrashing the motor and Ill be possibly keeping my licence.. haha maybe..
  9. Thanks mate. Whoever ends up with her will be very happy :-)
  10. Sorry about the caps. Just wanted to make it to the point. Here is the engine bay. It doesnt look like much in there. The guys that tuned it didnt look that impressed before they stuck it on the dyno but said that the previous owner had spend some good money on quality internals. Its has got aggressive cams in her as well. I like it better. If you get pulled over everything looks standardish, even the filter is boxed up but the power is there. Like I said tomorrow she is going back on the dyno - hoping to pull at least 270kilowatts, i have a chart from the past owner of 278. I reckon she will come close. 270killowatts with a motor that looks quite stock is great. The only thing they get get you on really is the blow off valve and the exhaust. The blow off valve is adjustable so you can turn it right off. Although I do have a leagal one the buyer can have. Easy to bolt on get defect removed and the old one can be replaced again. That muffler set up (which the piping runs half way through the car) is worth $450. The buyer can have it for free.
