Really? I thought they had to have the self leveling and washers for it? Then it makes it even easier for me. Yea I was thinking the same thing especially because of the Nismo dash, however steering wheel does show wear but overall the interior is good which is why I never bothered to have one. Last bump and Price Drop to $17,000 before car is put in storage. Will include all OEM and Spare parts that I have collected for the car, however can go less with all parts reverted to stock. Getting a RWC won't be a problem (only thing that might come up are the factory Xeon lights)

Yea lesson learnt i guess, will have to buy a bum car to go from a to b. Problem is that I have no clue how to change the barrel plus they damaged the interior as well, excess is only $500 so it will kinda work out. Plus they have to replace the alarm so yea will see how we go with the cameras and all that.

Just a small fyi for the people in the west. I was staying over at the missis place in the west and I parked my car at the Tottenham Train station as I went to work (2nd time ever parking there). Finished work as I was getting closer to the car my keys started to ring, somebody tried to steal it. They ripped out the two alarm horns i had, got through one of the imobolisers, completly fkd up the ignition barel, door lock is snapped in and some interior dmg. They knew what they were doing but thankfully having back up imobolisers helped out as they couldnt take it. Cops came did the report, pictures, dust prints etc...they told me that this is the 7th case this week they are responding to, there are cameras on the station but i doubt they will see anything. Will keep this thread updates as I hear some news. RACV is gettig everything fixed. Its my first claim can somebody give some feedback on them? Also on the repairer Mr Gloss Hallam? Cheers

104,500 kms done + service. Installed a cat back titanium exhaust (still legal). Still have all OEM parts packed away that will go with the car, can do cheaper if reverted to stock.

Bump. Car has done 102,XXX kms. Only gets driven locally. Have also installed a front lip. Last bump before its kept for a mate

Been driving around that area for the past 2 years havent been pulled over once and my car isn't stock. Does bring attention esp with all the kids wanting to race.....do the speed limit and you wont have any probs

I've had something similar ages ago..... Coming back from Bendigo I was speeding. Cop was driving opposite side of the freeway but turned on his radar. After about 5km of him catching up to me he pulled me over and explained that I was speeding and that his radar detects the fastest moving object. I could have contested it as there was other speeding cars however I didnt know any better and I accepted it (I should have as I was driving 20km's over the limit - but not having ever pulled over before or having a fine i just thought it was me). I was caught 38km over the limit so the fine was put as 35km over. That day VIC introduced the law if you speed 35 or over its an automatic 6 month suspension and 6pts. After my 6 months I went to VIC roads and they told me on the spot I had to choose either 1 point for the whole year or another 3 month suspension (as i was on my P's). The way it works is that a fine for speeding is one suspension, and the points system is another - so basically it doubles up (if you don't have any remaining pts left) Same applies now just worse fines.

Wont go off at you - but ill tell you what will happen: Going to court he will most likely add these - Speeding -> License Suspension (1 Year at least) - Driving Dangerously & Endangering Lives (Cancellation of License - Mandatory 6 month term) The second bit is mandatory and your License will be cancelled and depending on your age you will have to either go on the P's again or you will have to wait out the Period before you can get your license back (e.g 1.5 years) Having said that because you didn't have a fine in a long time is good - however at the speed you were going and the people in the car I can almost assure you you might have your license cancelled. Not much you can do really bite the bullet or go see a lawyer. Hope you don't go to the Dandenong Court as basically said no lawyer can help you there when it comes to speeding.

Thought you only have to report if you ever had any accidents/claims in the last 5 years, and license loss in the last 3? Fines arent relevant because you still have your lisence until your points run out? Anywhoo for a R34GTT agreed value of 16k its about $145 a month with RACV for 27yr Male
