Thanks man. The badges were on the car when I bought it. Im pretty sure there was a thread a while ago saying the red badges dont mean that its a gtst, just different spec or something like that.

Here are a few of mine, had it resprayed a few weeks ago and had the bodykit fitted. Used to be blue over silver 2 tone, now its a custom blue with 2 pearls: purple and green. what the colour actually looks like in the sun.

The 3A Racing pod won the best overall flow and filter pod in the Auto Salon magazine comparison. Bought one for $25 off ebay and it sounds pretty good to me.

You would be suprised. Got a 3A Racing pod on mine. Give it some stick and it sounds great Finster, I would be more concerned with the exhaust mod you have than the pod filter. Id say that would be the first thing cops would be looking for on a P plater car. Like Al said, you might aswell chuck a pod in it now. Just keep it nice and neat and when you get off your p's, sell it and buy a gtst. Or, if it has too much sentimental value, decide to respray it, become too attached to it and don't want to sell it anymore (like I have), do a conversion (like I am)

Just a quick one to say thanks all the SAU crew that were there for making it the awesome weekend that it was. I trully had a great time. Yeah the DSG box is awesome. The launch control in sports mode is loads of fun, but it does take a bit of practise to get it right so you don't just end up spinning the wheels.

Spot on! My old man has one of these. Great car to drive. The Jetta 2.0 turbo also has the same suspension setup as the GTI, so it handles pretty well too. But the GTI is obviously a smaller car so it will be more fun to throw around.

Spotted these 2 today The Lambo on Church St Richmond, just infront of the Zagame - Ferrari dealership and the beautiful 360 F1 at Highpoint shopping centre

Yeah they are nice, but after sitting in both the MPS and the XR5, they left me feeling abit cold, especially the MPS. There wasnt really that much that made it look different to the normal Mazda 3. At least the XR5 has real nice recaro seats in it. But I guess its personal preference.
