each to his own i guess i like the fact i can change boost whenever i want and that noone over here has a turbo v (that i know of) while there are a few s/c on Vs and Zs plus that turbo does whistle nicely

its actually 237rwkw but whos counting. stock injectors at the moment so im not gonna up the boost until i get bigger ones. im making roughly 18hp for every pound of boost i add but ill sit on it for a while. the kit was making 270kw@ wheels @9psi on the z it came off but that was a 6m/t

thought there would be a bit more support even though its not a skyline. its gotta be more interesting surely? i hope they do well cos im sick of my mates goin on about bloody holdens 24/7

not many people over here know what a v series is. i get a lot of questions about what it is especially cos it has no badges. no one is expecting the whistling turbo either but they get the message when it hits 3000+rpm gotta plumb that bloody screamer pipe back in lol

my auto v35 makes 318rwhp with the hks turbo kit without changing injectors,at 7psi. Prick to fit but oh so worth it. Uprev is def the way to go though my ecu cost me $1600

thats just under 7psi. lovin it!!!!

the kit came with the screamer but ill weld it up tomorrow got plenty of tube and flanges handy anyway. not showing any codes thats why im confused. any ideas about that little antenna thingy? it was wired into a lot of different things

the ABS light is coming up on the dash and we cant figure out why. anyone got any ideas? doing the dyno power run tomorrow so will post the sheet up after work to keep you number guys happy lol. no matter the figure its a different animal than it was might have to plumb that screamer back in though its f@#!$n noisy! also did anyone have a funny little aerial on the drivers side dash in their v35? i thought it was something to do with the toll roads but it was conected to lots of little modules and boxes one which contained a brand new brown nissan key that didnt fit my car????? does this have something to do with the abs maybe? beats me.

no mate just one careful run to get an idea as soon as it was lean we shut it down. The new ecu works well on auto xr6ts so should be good. All hooked up with no issues, dyno shortly. The 123456 firing order was a surprise though.

hp at wheels untuned tried a few different ecus with limited success haltech want me to ship car to nsw because they've never done an auto before but thats not gonna happen wired a new ecu up last night and its doing everything it should but not counting my chickens. if no go then off to to-mo for the uprev osiris but thats not cheap

That's 81 hp at the wheels which is ok however the kit has a crap pulley as standard.you can get a different one to up the boost which is his next move.that means more money and retuning but if you change the pulley you can kiss any warranty you get goodbye

my mate put the vortech kit on his 350z and got an extra 60kw at the wheels. mine is on the dyno right now so i will be interested to see what gains i get. pick it up in the morning so will post results tomorrow night

delay on results i had to custom make flanges and pipes to suit the hi flow cat i bought ! the benefits of being a boilermaker will add new image to mods

no worries mate will do. i put a new valve body in the tranny which i got with the kit so that will help the auto shift,will see how it goes

its in and it all fits! had to cut a hole for the ic but who cares!!!! tuning on tues coz weve got a long weekend here

exhaust manifolds and front end off, new manifolds and turbo on! the bloody heat shields were the biggest pain took an hour to get each one off!!! only a bees dick of room for the turbo didnt think it would fit for a mo! intercooler next

also im missing one of the centre caps from my LMGT4 rims they are two piece with the outer one a threaded plastic cap you can see them in the picture. Any idea where i can buy one or is it easier just to buy a new set in a different style? cheers
