  1. other way round buddy.. pick your tuner befor you purchase an ecu. most tuners I know wont touch certain ecu's becuase THEY know if it will work for them to acheive the best result's would be pointless speding 1k+ on a part to be told they dont want to work with it.
  2. MTQ in malaga usualy has them in stock
  3. factory mate we just needed to do the smallest of grinding to get the comp cover to clear it, the tial 38mm was mounted directly on the exh housing.
  4. that dyno sheet is with my 2nd setup, garret gt30 with a .63 rear fitted on a high mount xspower stainless mani. not my old td06 on stock log mani
  5. Roy the guy that purchased my last turbo setup on my 20 also ended up buying the hks cams i was using we have back to back comparison now of befor and after as his was power tuned, then re-run after the cams went in THEY DO WORK, i know you've been against them on here befor with your own experience.. but from my own experience and now my mates back to back (same dyno) we have seen they do make a noticeable difference on the 20's!! HKS 9.0 264's as I had or even the local camtech drop in's work well
  6. intake plenum gasket would be my guess if its none of the above
  7. have seen one make 360ish rwhp @ 20psi on a very safe tune. stock 20 with 6 boost and 82 rear, plazmaman top plenum, hks 260 9.0 cams and power fc/z32
  8. my 20 didnt go kaboom so to speak. BUT it did blow the dipstick out (ended up cable tieing it in) and fill my catchcan up with a couple ltr's of oil on a couple of ocasions where it was being driven hard befor it was running and sounding worse for wear. that was 2bar of boost on a std motor so std 20 oil pump no restrictors or any changes to oil control. I would only assume if a 26 would have crank case pressure issues there would be the same issue through the entire RB series?
  9. tenagah are a nismo agent
  10. cool story.
  11. sard makes a high temp silicon hose i've used on a couple of wastegates now with no issues even the thick stuff that comes with greddy ebc kits works well
  12. get it welded shut?
  13. BCP6ES here with .7 gap, 2bar 405rwhp on std coils and no misfire
  14. 500 hp balancer as the 1000 requires regular maintenance. I just purchased one from summit racing in the states it came to around 600 deliverd after the exchange rate (rocket industries want 770 trade rate..) this is the R32 rb26 one (you need to go by what power steering/aircon/alternator your using for the right amount of ribs & ofsets on the balancer) http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...mp;x=33&y=5 heres the complete chart http://www.atiracing.com/products/dampers/...s/damnissan.htm
  15. ring northside nissan, speak to steve barns in parts he is the man when it comes to import parts (he also owns a 32 gtr) should beable to have it sent down to your closest dealer aswell
  16. letme know when you want to come pick it up simon haha my car came fitted with a 30/20DET combo from japan, we've had the head side to side with a stocker and the only visable mods were machining out the water galeries to mate up to the block stupidly responsive but never got a chance for a dyno run with it all
  17. just curious the guys using teflon how abouts do you go connecting it to the stock fuel pump cradle? just a normal hose clamp over the hose?
  18. also interested paul
  19. pretty sure if you win the case in court your lawyer would also beable to ask for compensation from the state for costs (your time off work, his fee's and so on) thats what I was told when i was fighting a traffic matter by my lawyer. 7 years seems to be a set date for alot of things with financial records/tax records? so that should be a strong foot for yourself to stand on in court. going to be interesting to see how this goes. I hope your succesful fighting it
  20. pretty sure i have that pipe from my old cooler kit on my car, i may have thrown it out but i will have a look tomorow for you if you want it
  21. aftermarket bov on it brad? mates car had an issue where it was dropping power in the middle of the revs and would slowly recover back but wouldnt make the top end power back, ended up being a leaky bov and with it blocked off it solved all the issues
  22. hes the younger bro of a freind of mine, she's due to give birth to her first child in a few weeks which would have made him a first time uncle, such a shame this has happend so close to christmas the family is really close, they would be devistated RIP Corey
  23. cheers for that mate! we're looking at the camtech 264 9.0mm cams atm and definatly going to be installing stiffer springs while its apart getting serviced. not looking for massive top end power but more driveable/streetable power delivery.
  24. the brembos fitted the the FPV have removable dog bones much the same as any brembo you would purchase as a kit personaly i would look into buying new brembo or aftermarket rotors/hats and dog bones to suit the application and selling the ford dog bones and ford rotors obviously if the ofsets and mounts dont work out
