  1. 6 pot fpv brembo's are an option also get 4 pot rear brembos instead of the pbr calipers
  2. back to the topic on disabling the vct to run an adjustable gear, what cam can then be fitted? are you still limited to the 8.5 tomei poncam or can something else be used?? this is for the non neo head btw
  3. Simon the previous owner told me he had twin 044's with surge tank much like the one above and it was boiling the fuel. went back to the single 044 in tank and had no issues.

  6. no offence dude but a GTR engine removale is a sh*tload more complex than a simple gtst removal with the front driveshafts and all the other bulky bits attached, theres a good few hours in it each way. pattygtst i think your forgeting something, Paul is in newcastle sydney. Crans started the topic on removal/refit there are plenty of more than competant shops in perth.. tenagah,ovaboost,x speed, all star, hyperdrive.. just to name a few.
  7. i only ever ran bp98 in mine and from day one it was tuned on 20psi, then 24, then we went as high as 28 but from 26-28 it made no extra power so we backed it down. its all in the tune just keep it conservative and safe, dont try and push for every last hp i dont think your headgasket let go because of the fuel, you would have had detonation and obvious signs of it on the pistons/head if it was a fuel issue is your gt30 a 3082? i ran the .63 rear on mine and i can honestly say it wasnt THAT laggy haha for the power it could have potentialy made it was fine. 346@22psi on a tired motor is fairly respectable as far as a 20 goes. asuming yours is the .82 rear id go about changing the rear housing befor doing cams.
  8. i was told 6 at the most! but oh wells cant control these things the motor let go the week the shoot was done (it was blowing bulk smoke out the breathers) and ive since sold all the turbo kit,cams,ecu and a few other bits. besides that its just sat in the garage waiting for its new motor but thats some time away yet what you see in that feature is basicly my recomendation for the perfect 20, the car that the gt3040r turbo kit,ecu and injectors went into is making 300rwhp on a lazy 16psi and is just as responsive as the rb25 turbo that came off it!

  12. my first tubo setup on an internaly standerd motor,stock cams,stock inlet plenum & throttle body and just an std rb25 exhaust mani with the trust TD06 20G with a big 16c rear housing made 405rwhp on 26psi and ran a few low 12 second passes. i drove that setup every week for a year and it was always running 20psi or more

  16. go gear has OMP wheels on the shelf in suede and maybe leather.
  17. just use trial and error, the key is only there as a guide.
  18. whats funny? do you think the calibration on a dyno will always be accurate? on my tacho on the street it was showing me i was making full boost just befor 4k, dyno showed it to be just after 4200 and the rev limit went to 7800 where the ecu was set to 7200.
  19. definatly do gears at the same time! when i installed my hks 264s and tuned the car, we adjusted the inlet cam 3 degres advance and it moved the power curve foward a fair bit. if we had of retarded the exh cam we think it would have made even more improvements

  21. i had hks cams in mine but with a 63 reard gt3040r i was making full boost (22psi) by 4k on a tired motor. still made 346rwhp do it!

  24. My standerd internal RB20 had a TD06H-20g running a 16c rear housing, stock rb25 exhaust mani and a tial 38mm gate mounted directly on the turbine housing. 405rwhp or 302rwkw for you eastern staters on 26psi/1.8 bar and pump fuel.
