  1. it was bound to happen sooner or later time to get a bit more serious with it i spose, im not giving up yet yeah i'll definatly be down for the day, i'll be helping the boys with strapping the cars down
  2. haha not this time round, popped motor Brad please take me off the list, wont have it running by then.
  3. reliability, definatly do your fuel system next dude... cams and gears will help it spool earlier plus give that added angry idle
  4. i bought 5 metres from go gear at around 60 dollars, then bought 20 metres from chris mills performance for 40 bucks... exact same hose.. Chris mills only sell it in bag lengths of 10 metres. 4 and 5 mm is the common size for the vaccum lines on skylines
  5. one thing i can note on is that when you remove a solid line (banjo bolt) you also need to replace the copper washers with new ones every time, the speed-flow/earls dash fittings being a screw fitting eliminates the need for this every time you remove the connection. very handy if its a part that frequently needs to be removed (hence why drag and race teams dont skimp on fittings)
  6. id say this one is very arguable... how would one determine a 'stock' turbo to a highflowed, steel wheeled turbo
  7. cheers dude its genuine gtr bar, garage saurus fibreglass copy lip and std metal gtst gaurds
  8. cheers for the kind words guys Roy it would be good to try that to see where exactly in the rev range the cams are working there magic, but i really cant be stuffed pulling it appart AGAIN haha. Koree you can get it from Go Gear in osbourne park, I've put it over all the water lines, oil feed and oil drain aswell (it comes in diferent size diametre) I used it more as a safety thing then anything. hows the old girl coming along mate?
  9. i would have liked to do the cams on the td06 setup for comparison sakes but nah it was all done in one hit with the new turbo setup. another bonus is the overlap at idle sounds soo tough now haha but the cams have made the throttle response alot better down low in the revs while its off boost i feel
  10. cheers Abu, alot of effort went into it this time round with your setup i have a mate here with pretty much the same setup, except he's running a microtech ecu last tune i think it made a safe 310 rwhp @18psi
  11. another update on mine well ive now sold the trust td06 a couple months ago because i wanted to try something else, i managed to pic up a garret GT3040R with a ceramic coated .63 rear housing, xspower stainless high mount manifold and a new tial 38mm gate with .9 spring. while it was off the road and in bits i thought it was about time i dropped some cams into it, i picked up a set of hks 264 9.0 (or 9.1 im not to sure as there an older version of the cam with no lift spec stamped on) i also put adjustable gears on them on its current tune its made 346rwp @22psi, not the 400 it used to make but what i find impressive is the power comes on so much earlier now, it feels faster to drive than when it had 400, no dyno sheet of it as i forget to grab it!
  12. some photos of my sedan from a big show here in perth last weekend
  13. $200 deliverd want these gone
  14. ive just finnished converting my setup from the trust TD-06 20G with the 16c rear housing, to a garret GT3040R with a .63 rear housing i also installed hks 264 9.1 cams with adj cam gears for its first tune it made 346rwhp @22psi, but comes on almost 1000rpm earlier in the rev range! compared to when my car had the 405 hp tune with the td06, it actualy feels alot faster to drive now, this is all on a std head/bottom end the gt35r will be a bit too big imo as for driveability, my recomendation is the garret gt3040 good luck Adam
  15. Brad please put me down aswell
  16. afr's sit on mid to low 11s at first and the power dies off in the top end because it has alot of fuel dumped to keep the motor alive and topples below 10afrs.
  17. mine runs stock gtr 440cc injectors and there not maxed out yet.. seen GTR's use them past 400 hp aswell without being anywhere near 100% duty cycle
  18. he was never there full time tuner.. Aaron has his own company
  19. dude im very keen to hear myself, unfortunatly its already sold and will be going on a 25 so im hanging to see the difference! cheers mate
  20. nah no cams for those figurs not even a set of adjustable gears. bp ultimate 98 ron no additives injectors soposidly still have room to play, im considering going some 550s with the new round of mods but we'll see how i go thanks mate
  21. since jan this year, started off with a 20 psi tune made 335rwhp, then went 24psi and 366rwhp, then fine tuned a bit more after replacing the inlet mani gaskets went 385rwhp on same boost motor hadnt given up or showed any signs of it being on the way out so we went nuts and did the big boost tune haha motor is still going strong and receiving a new turbo setup
