  1. no updates yet Roy we're still in our off season at the plex, im counting down the weeks hoping it doesnt break befor then only a month away now
  2. mine has been making 330hp+ since january few weeks back it was tuned to 405.1hp or 300kw at 26psi and last night gave it a good solid 4 hours on 24psi on some twisty roads daily it runs 20psi there tough lil motors if tuned acordingly (mine has sweet fark all timing and plenty of fuel where it counts)
  3. only diference is the number of ribs for the power steering belt rb20 and rb26 from r32's run a larger belt for the power steering and hicas pump (pumps from front and back) rb25 and rb26 from 33/34 run one less rib on the belt becuase the hicas is elcetric so less stress/load on the power steering pump so no you cant run an rb25 ballance unless you run an rb25 power steering pump and remove the hicas (this is what i have done)

    lol people didnt read my post properly... MY CAR WAS GONE by the time the media arrived. there was a black 32 coupe with black 6 spoke rims (the one with stickers all over it and the owner got interveiwed) the silver s15 was also there still, these were the two cars that were on the news
  7. i bet your wishing you paid that extra lil bit of money for the motor that was lined up for you in the first place now... wouldnt have had any of these issues which is now going to cost you alot more to rectify

    lol lucky for me the news crew wasnt there 5 mins earlier..... they were nailing plenty of cars that night,12 to be exact, car club part might have something to do with the fact there was a cruise on fri night, and the cops knew about it. who says they were giving sauwa a bad rep?? no where did i see or hear them use the name of any clubs.
  9. cubes the thing is as stock as your gonna get besides from big turbo,injectors and ecu. we've had the plenum completly off and the inlet ports have definatly not been touched, same goes for the exhaust side. no obvious signs off it getting cams BUT we havent pulled the covers off to see, and definatly no cam gears because we replaced the timing belt the TD-06 20g with 16c we think might be nearing its limits, id love to change the setup to a high mount gt30 .63 just for curiosity sakes but i dont want to start throwing cash at it id rather it went to my rb30/26... its cheaper to retune it than it is to start changing things
  10. mitchy put down the crack pipe already the 'mechanic' was never told of the dipstick, if chi never told him im lead to beleive that you didn't tell him either, when fitting a motor the last thing youd think for is "oh i better check to make sure the dipstick is there" the 'mechanic' checked the turbo on the motor and found it was fine and no need to replace it, again he wasnt told there wasn't goin to be a gasket fitted or bango washers... stop blaming him when ALL of the issues chi has had were from a faulty peice of equitment SUPPLIED by chi for him to fit. its easy to blame some one else when they cant jump on a forum and back themselfs up....
  11. bit of an update on things over here. had the car retuned last week and this time with the intention of making a solid big figure the motor is still untouched, no cams nouthing *head definatly isnt moddified as we had the inlet plenum off to replace a gasket* on 26psi we pumped out a solid 405.1 hp on a dd dyno in shootout mode.   13. good idea in the way of eliminating some turbulance in the air flow, but it wont solve the sucking closed issue. I had an r33 inlet pipe fitted on my car and on the dyno i watched it suck closed where the two inlets for the bov return and oil breather are... on more than one occasion aswell.
  14. chi an easy out is not an option, you have been told the reasons behind this already welding anything to the tip of it is near impossible so thats out of the question only real option is to drop the sump, which cant be done in the car. atleast with the sump off if there are any small fragments released after its tapped out they can be contained saving you having to rebuild/buy anouther motor if anything does happen to fall out and find its way into your bearings/oil pump/head its your choice take your mechanics word ps the noise is your belts squelling

BRAND NEW RB26 high mount single turbo manifold (china copy) it features twin collectors for the wastegate pipe (the proper way to do it) and i beleive its a t4 flange,these aren't shitty manifolds as they have thicker tubing than most jap brand gear, same deal it was for my twin cam 30 but have taken a new direction on it selling for $250 pm or call/sms 0411 811 231 cheers Adam pics of mani http://i10.tinypic.com/4v79dmg.jpg http://i10.tinypic.com/4zodhyf.jpg
  20. to tell you the truth Roy I'm not worried if it goes bang, got a few spares the motor was running insanley rich but now its back into a more leaner tune so time will tell how it holds up

  22. if the weather holds up for next wednesday im goin to return the car back to the drag setup and try and get a run in at the last street meet for the season, it feels like its a shit load faster now then when it was last on the track

  24. well just got back from my tuners after resetting the ebc and a slight retune as the car was running rich (under 10.0 afr and we dont know why) 383.1hp at 24psi it's hardcore :P
