haha yeah, just my luck it happened on about my 5th lap first thing in the morning at wakefield... am i likely to need a new tune after the standard turbos go on?

no plate, the only numbers i can find on them are pictured unfortunately

For comparison here are some freshly rebuilt standard 33gtr turbos and the ones I just pulled off, standard ones have smaller turbine and compressor

Hoping someone can help identify these turbos, came off a 33 rb26 and I'm not sure if they have been rebuilt or are not standard gtr turbos (given the steel turbine) Turbine also appears to be larger than a stock gtr turbo although I haven't measured yet

things are bound to break once I start to wind some power into it anyway. went for a cruise around sydney with these today, that skyline is surprisingly quick - and i would say the S4 will take the c63 once tuned

i am picturing some king of clamping mechanism locking a router type tool into place on the crank

thought i'd revive this, has anyone heard of a new keyway being cut/ground with the engine/crank still in the car?

that said, both of my skylines are perpetually broken as well - in the 3 years i have had my 32 I have never been to the track or an event without something breaking/catching fire

I would say I'm fairly lucky it happened inside the 3 month statutory warranty
