Dont know if anyone can help, but supposing you had 18x10in wheels on the rear and 18x8in wheels on the front of your R33 GTST, would it be illegal? From the RTA website I believe you can increase the width and diameter by 1in over standard. My question is, is the standard taken from the model, or series etc? ie is the standard taken from the largest factory wheel size for skylines in general or just GTSTs? I think Skyline GTRs came with 17x9in from the factory does that cover skyline GTSTs as well? Im thinking it would be specific to each series of skyline, can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

Check out modyourcar.com.au I got a Pivot speed meter for $152, it removes the 180km limit, displays speed up to 350km/hr and gives you times and terminal speed for 0-100m, 0-200m, 0-300m, and 0-400m. There are only four wires and it is easy to install, (comes with ecu pinout diagrams for all models). Good value for money i reckon, plus the hicas still works normally. Lawrence

Im in the process of doing exactly what you are planning, R32 N1 tubs, front pipes and hiflow cat etc etc. I bought an R32 ecu and dropped it off to a guy called Toshi (see business for sale section) and he is fitting a new chip to allow me to run more boost and more fuel. Can anyone suggest what power I should be making?? Let me know how you go with yours when its complete! Lawrence

There seams to be a few GTR owners keen to participate in this group buy. If it was possible to include dump pipes for an R32/R33 GTR in the group buy I think you would make up the numbers required a lot quicker. I would be keen for starters... Lawrence

FATGTS-R is right, screeching at full boost could be the impeller against the housing due to excessive shaft play. One of mine did that and then 2 weeks later blew competely! Get it checked out. Lawrence

Hi all, Any of you using the Nismo RS580 turbos on your GTR? Or does anyone know a bit about them? I would like to know how much lag there is using these tubs? Are they a good upgrade? As good or better than the N1 turbos? Any feed back much appreciated! Lawrence

Hi all, Just wondering whether anyone has done a before and after comparison when they installed aftermarket dump pipes on there GTR? My tubs are coming off (blown) so labour is minimal, and the cost of dumps will probably be around $800. Is this money well spent or money wasted? I intend to intall N1 turbos and power levels will be under say 280rwkw after mods are complete. Thanks for your opinions. Lawrence
