  5. I think i paid around $950 (supplied and installed) for a 6 puck sprung clutch from Unique autosports, rated to around 300rwkw. Not too grabby and holds on really well! Lawrence

  8. Alright, just spoke to Nathan who suggested I may have a hose problem rather than a blown turbo? Apparently you had a similar problem fatz? Anyway if I cant find a lose hose tonight Ill drop it off to him tomorrow night. Thanks for the tip. Lawrence
  9. The ECU is acutally a lesser known jap brand and i cant find any info on it at all. Its a Power Selection ECU??? I assume that is is not tunable so I will probably look at a PFC, but considering I am about to fork out for turbs I may pospone the PFC until the cash flow improves! Hence my question regarding whether the N1s will be ok with the ECU thats in the car at the moment. The car is an R33 GTS-T with an RB26DETT transplant, Im not sure whether it is an R32 or an R33 engine?? Thanks for the responses guys. Lawrence

  14. Thanks Ken. How much is a gasket kit roughly? Is that a nissan original part? I wrote another post asking whether the standard gtr ecu runs ok with N1 tubs or whether a Power FC upgrade is essential, it was suggested that you have a good amount of experience to answer that question!??   16. Hi guys, I am about to replace the stock turbos on my RB26DETT powered GTS-T. My questions are; 1/ Is it worth rebuilding the turbos and having them highflowed? How much to get this done? (Im in sydney) 2/ Has anybody done the work themselves? How complicated is it? Any special tools required? 3/ How much should i be paying in labour for a workshop to pull the old tubs off and put the new ones on? 4/ Can anyone recommend a workshop in sydney to do the work?   18. Jay51 is right, it all depends on the offset. I have 18 x 10in on the rear with 265x35 tyres and 18x9 on the front with 235x35 tyres and they fit no worries at all. Lawrie

  23. SydneyKid, I assume by support you mean injectors and fuel pump? How far can you push the standard injectors before they run out of flow? So I definately would need a power fc to run the N1 turbos? Thanks, Laz
  24. Ok Ive got an R33 GTST with an RB26DETT transplant. The motor is stock with the normal exhaust and intake upgrades and an electronic boost controller set at 12psi. (Dynoed at 225rwkw). I have stuffed a turbo and i'm in the process of deciding to replace the stock turbos or upgrade to something like some low km secondhand N1 turbos. My questions are do i need to install a Power FC if upgrading turbos? (i assume i would???) What power could i expect if i do upgrade to N1s and a power FC??? If anyone would like to make suggestions it would be appreciated! Also if anyone has secondhand turbos for sale let me know! Thanks guys.
