  1. This has not been well thought off I am under 21 and I go to TAFE every tuesday, wednesday and friday night. I start at 6pm and finish at 10pm. It takes me 15-20 minutes to get there and come home. How will i get home? and even if they do provide exemptions does this mean that I will get pulled over every night just so they can see it? I used to work at the council where I had to drive at 5:30 in the morning just to reach my work at 6. These people who work the late shifts and early shifts will be disadvantaged, its not right. Im 18 and I might have done some stupid shit, but ive learnt my lesson from experience. But what if I want to go out at night, I would like to get drunk and have some fun. It is cheaper for me to take my car, then it is to get a taxi. I would be happy for this law to get passed down IF the government can agree to pay half my taxi fee like they do with the disabled. But i dont think that will ever happen. If i get pulled over for speeding, give me a ticket and take my points, i know i done something wrong and i deserve to be punished for it, same goes for drink driving, burnouts and the like. But what is wrong with driving normally at night? We are responcible enough to drive in the daytime but at night we arent? Why is that? Im not going to fall asleep at the wheel, i never have because im always alert when i drive at night. I find it easier to drive at night anyways, there are less cars on the road. In the past years there have been some dramatic changes to young drivers: - the introduction of green p plates - the 0% alcohol limit Why do we need to introduce more laws now? Is the system not working? I am an adult and I deserve the right to be treated as one. I have been given this magic card that allows me to drive where ever i want, when ever I want. And now it has to change? I like things the way they are With the 0% alco limit, i got a handlet in the mail, basically saying go out, have a few drinks, have a good time but just get some one else to drive you home. Now they want to say you can do have fun but we just wont let you. The government just doesnt want to spend money. They are settling for the cheapest solution which is not right. Like I said i would be glad to have this law if the government could: - Pay for half my taxi fair when i go to the city every friday and saturday night for clubbing - Get more taxis, trains and buses to get to and from locations so that i could get home. - I want to go to my home after a long night and i want to be taken to the front of my house, like i would with a car. This only works with taxis - We are going to need alot of taxi drivers now because of the sudden boom that will happen. - More police will be required for security on trains, certain hot night spots and at stations aswell - More police will be need will be needed to perform random age checks just like random breath tests at night. - More police will be required to investigate crime scenes, because girls under 21 going to the city might get raped when they are on their own. - Like stated before my insurance premium better go down, and the age excess should be dropped if i cant drive half the time i could go on and on and on about ways you can make it safer for us to go out. But the bottom line is if you want to take away our driving ability at night, you better ****ing provide us with some sort of compensation for it. There is a petition going online. Sign for it http://www.petitiononline.com/drive/ We are adults so treat us like adults as we all deserve equal rights.
  2. no one has answered my question I will say it again does Mobil Synergy 8000 or BP Ultimate contain ethanol?
  3. Just a quick question does Mobil Synergy 8000 contain ethanol? or BP Ultimate for that matter? I asked my mate the other day what fuel he uses and he says Optimax is the best. When I said Mobil Synergy 8000 and BP Ultimate are better he clicked it at me and said that they contain ethanol. He is the type of guy who hates being wrong and will go to the other side of the world just to prove you wrong.
  4. My mate is selling his plates. They are white and the license number is SYK-02T $400 or negotiable offer. Note: These plates were bought before the RTA brought out the annual fee. So you dont have to pay the annual fee to have them. PM Me or leave a reply on this thread.
  5. I was suprised jap imports turned up. Because in the last 8 supercruises where mostly v8s and classics. and the police were quite nice yesterday. They were pretty friendly to us. Through out the whole day I only saw one white beema get pulled over on the way home. (And he was right behind me)
  6. you have to cut the wires off the skyline plug and connect them to the holden plug. You will have to figure out which wire goes where because it is not exactly colour for colour. You need to figure out which wire is positve, which one is ignition and which one is ground, and basically which wires connect to the speakers. Also get some fuses aswell because you will probably blow some up in the process.
  7. nah i was in grey silouhette I did see that black coupe though it looked good. i saw the two lambos aswell. At which point my car was getting hot in gridlock mode so i just called it quits and went on home.
  8. it was a great day guys. I was in my 31. Not a bad turnout of skylines thoug. The traffic was moving 10km/h in a 110km/h zone. There must have been at least 2000 cars involved in the supercruise. I left at about 4pm because my car was getting to hot in the gridlock going towords WIN Stadium. I cant wait until next year
  9. thats right 10:30 am the car park has been hired out by the guy organising the cruise. I think this is the 9th Supercuise.
  10. heh the alarm is probably 20 years old. ill get my mate to check for any faults in the circuits and ill see if it can be repaired.
  11. is there anywhere in Sydney where i could get a replacement key remote for my alarm? I have an old cobra alarm on my car.
  12. if you got the dvd of bullit. play the part where the car scene is about to end (when the gas station blows up i think). If you play it in super slow motion you see some funny things. 1) When the gas station blows up the scene quickly changes to a black screen with a fire effect "very dodgy" 2) Now after the gas station if you look backround you see the car still driving (it was supposed to hit the gas station) but you still see it 3) When the makes that drift in the end the tyre just bends like 90's and as soon as it reaches the gutter it stops. That car would have definately tipped over after that scene.
  13. "its okay open the door" lol that was pretty funny nice footage and thanks for sharing it. Do you have anymore?
