I was looking to import a GTiR, which I have found but insurance is really starting to get annoying. My first bet was SGIO as I heard they do some imports and they said they would only insure the car for market value ($10,000 - yeah right thats all its worth) and the premium would be $5,000 year. After telling SGIO to love the **** I set about rining Famous Insurance and apparently they don't insure people under 19 years of age ? Robyn said she would have to refer it to the manager and I would have to call back Any other companies that will insure imports in Perth ? Is it worth going to a broker and what are the costs for their services like? Cheers J.

I am fairly sure the Blitz one is the loudest of them. The HKS SSQ sounds the best though I suggest you use the 'search' button in the future as this has been brought up several times now

Yer - it munched. I saw it go up but never come back Looked awesome though. Got some pics of hicks, radium and got boost. Also got some of macka and a few others cars I dont recognise. I got a lovely shot of Hicks as he was coming back (the big guy in the white shirt drooling was me Hicks ) Anyway - I have some pics but not very good (Lost my camera V plates tonight). Will post them when I get to work tommorow

One of the TVR's does it around this time. I think it was the Speed 12, not sure right now.

Apparently it has a very restrictive airbox and exhaust. Also runs a very low boost level from factory and that the engine cuts if it detects a raise in boost ? Just need some aftermarket equipment into it

Probably best to ask your insurance company this question as they all have different policies.

$2500 is cheap, Famous Insurance quoted me $3600 for a `96 non-turbo and I am 18, but 0% NCB as I havent had a full year of insurance yet. I don't think I would even bother with a non-turbo as the price difference in terms of insurance is quite neglegable, that's why I am going the GTiR path.

I went down and saw a few runs from Hicks, Macka and adam32 ( I think By the looks of it Hicks got into high 13's one run at 13.8 .. I think and the rest were low/mid 14's. Macka had some sweet runs with a nice 13.06 and 13.07 and some 15.something run.. **** remember anymore There was a sick speedworks 200sx but dropped a bit of white smoke on it's last run (blown turbo?). Also saw a GTiR up against a S13 which was beating it up until half track when it basically slowed to a crawl to never come out again Was a pretty good night with a all-holden burnout pad at the end. No soarers this week, suprise suprise. That's my recap
