And i should add.. If you look under the post i made wtb: double din facia. The metra kit was mentioned ( even a video presented ) and there were unfortunately no words of warning on a/c controls.

All controls thus far are working fine, how many metra kits have you heard of failing? And what causes the failures? The buttons are rubber but i don't think it detracts from the overall finish and I'm actually very happy with the results over the factory look. I also think not everyone has an unlimited budget.. The metra was half the price of the oem and the touch screen stereo has gps and all the mod cons but its no brand name either. I am happy to take my chances ( to late now i guess ) and will 100% report back here if i have ANY problems with the controls.

Hey Guys, had a go at this last weekend, was tedious at times but overall went smoothly =) The black has really given the interior a fresh look and im pretty happy with the results ! was worried the Metra kit would look a bit tacky but it actually looks fine. =) What do you guys think?

Interesting stuff, ill look into it. Wiser to fork the money but my hacking side is saying ... Take a look at it lol.

Was just thinking.... How hard could it be to cut your own double din slot into the original fascia? Has anyone tried to do this?

Thanks guys, our stock cd/stereo is jammed (broken) so im looking to buy an aftermarket facia that i can install an after market touch screen double din unit. If the 250gte or turbo stag facia will do the job then that could be a goer

Thanks, I have checked plugs.. There all secure, hooking up direct 12v is a great idea to see what's happening with the second fan. I will also make sure it's bled properly. Thanks.

Hey guys, The engine in our 35 runs so smooth and feels like new so it was a surprise to me that one hot day on parra road the temp needle started to spike where it shouldnt to the point where i almost had to pull over. This was frustrating so yesterday i pulled up in the drive way and let it run on 3000rpm untill it started to get hot.. i jumped under the hood to find that only one of the 2 thermo fans were running. The passenger side fan was not working with the temp gauge at 3/4. Can anyone help me fix this problem? is there a fuse for it somewhere or anything i can trouble shoot to get it working again. Hey guys, have 1 led out in my tail light and its little things like that that bug me alot. I had a quick look in the back of the light and all i see is a circuit board...... damn..... no pop out pop in led replacement by the look of it. This leads me to believe such a job would require soldiering a new led in =s that is if i can get to it. Or does Nissan just expect me to buy an entire new tail light every time an led goes out? Cheers.

Hey guys, The cd player in our v35 is cactus and we have come across a replacement for it. What i would like to know is Is it possible to replace the standar- pack factory head unit with the bose head unit? Are they the same plugs and will it still work properly? Cheers J
